Had they been in WWE, they would have been agented to crap, given half the time, preceded with tightly scripted promos and bad angles. You are just following the mentality of "if it's not WWE, I'm not watching". If you like Omega, watch his NJPW stuff, where he can be himself and do what he likes.
Mysteriobiceps and Shenroe like this.

“There are guys that will get good real quick, and then they’ll stay that way—they’re happy to have a job and they’re scared to lose that job on top of it. Everyone is afraid to stand out, everyone is afraid to make history. They just want to be a normal motherf******* in wrestling, being a wrestler, collecting a paycheck, then telling their friends, ‘I’m a ‘WWE Superstar.’ For me, that’s the worst **** ever." - Omega Kenny-Sama

That match would've never been allowed to happen in WWE, lol. This is the same company that banned the curb stomp. That's the trade off you get when you watch non WWE wrestling, you get vastly inferior production values with vastly superior stunts. However, I didn't think there was anything wrong with the production value, it's not ROH. It looks different because the culture is different, that's about it.

For the record, I'm also a believer in the "WWE is the major leagues, everything else is meaningless" argument, but there was nothing wrong with the production value and WWE does hamper talent and doesn't let them be at their best. In some ways, I blame them, and in other ways I don't, because really, Omega and Okada should NOT be doing a dragon suplex off the top rope, no matter how cool it is.

Because to me he is wasting his time and talent doing amazing things, earning far less money than he should, getting far less exposure than he should.

Just walking into WWE doesnt make someone a better talent.
Does make you a bigger star, though.

In fact if history has shown anything it has actually made a lot of people worse talents.
I see it as a test. If Kenny is good enough he will make it. I said the same thing back in April after Wrestlemania, and if Kenny Omega is better, that should be the least of his worries.

Cant you just enjoy someones work wherever they are?
No. I would have enjoyed Omega-Okada infinitely more had it been in the WWE. I would show it my friends and it would have millions of more views. I don't watch minor league anything, and I don't plan on starting with wrestling.

He's earning a comfortable living, doing what he loves at the highest level, and contrary to how you want somdesperately to believe..the seats aren't all empty in Japan. I doubt he cares if someone like you that has nothing better to do than obsess over YouTube views thinks he's wasting his time.

Who cares if his priority is being the best at his craft? Oh, that's right. Mr. YouTube views encyclopedia apparently does.

I wouldn't have. Better lighting and a fancy entrance ramp wouldn't be nearly enough to make up for all the shit they would have had to remove from that match in WWE.

Here's the better question. If you don't watch the "minor leagues" then why in the world are you keeping up with the number of YouTube views that the minor leagues get?
