Make Wrestlemania great again with Goldberg and Lesnar! But against who...?

I know this would be much more interesting than Goldberg vs Lesnar III, and also know this team would be wrestling's equivalent of World's Finest, and also know that most wrestling fans would be worried about young wrestlers being ''buried'' by them...
However this wouldn't be likely since this is Wrestlemania we're talking about.

I'd take it like that time when Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior went against Slaughter, Mustapha and Adnan.
A handicap match obviously isn't unfair against these monsters.:lol

My take would be them against Roman Reigns and the Usos reunited one night only.
Leaving a quality heel Reigns after 'mania wanting to crush everyone in Raw after that defeat.

Do you have other option for this team at 'mania?
If you don't want a team of Goldberg and Lesnar, don't need to reply...

I think they should be able to give everyone something that they want. Should Ceasro and Zayn be headlining the show? Of course not. But there's no reason to not put a match or two like that on the card.

I feel like what we saw last year is a decent blue print for what Wrestlemania could be. It wasn't executed that well but that type of show could work. An "indy wankfest" in Jericho/Styles, a fun multiman match, give the woman a chance to shine, a match that you can't see every week in Ambrose/Lesnar, and try to make the main event have a big fight feel to it. Then throw in some segments with stars that aren't wrestling and I think you have a format that could work.

The brand split complicates things a little more but if the follow the blue print from last year and actually have matches people want to see AND deliver I think Wrestlemania can be great.

The match you use as a precedents was an unmitigated disaster and even that match had some background to the storyline. It also didn't headline Wrestlemania. I like the Usos but they should get no where close to a Wrestlemania headlining match.
I like your outside of the box thinking but this wouldn't make any sense.

Please book a plausible storyline where from their current arch-enemies position Brock and Goldberg feel they need to team up at Wrestlemania.

I'll wait.

We got the Rumble to book enemies for Goldberg and Lesnar.
And in no way I said this would be a main event. My main event for Wrestlemania would be AJ Styles vs Seth Rollins.
A match of Goldberg and Lesnar against some heels is just a spectacular feature IMO.

I'm against Goldberg/Lesnar to be honest as I feel they should just be in two separate matches. Then again, do you have Lesnar go over a full timer again or do you have both of their legit stars lose on the biggest show of them all? I can definitely see Goldberg losing at Wrestlemania, that's a fact. It'll probably be his last match ever.

I think all the signs are pointing towards it though. Lesnar/Goldberg are #1 and #2 in the Rumble - one of them will end up getting eliminated and the other one will come in out of frustration and cost them and it'll lead to their inevitable match. Because heaven forbid they have Lesnar lose a feud outright.

Goldberg vs. Reigns would be an interesting match for Wrestlemania. I don't picture him facing anyone else. The winner of Lesnar/Goldberg III would be far too predictable.

but, wouldn't be surprised if we got something like this:

Roman Reigns vs. Finn Balor -- Universal title
Charlotte and the 4HW vs. Rousey and the 4HW
Lesnar vs. Goldberg III
Cena vs. Styles - WWE title
Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho
Undertaker vs. Strowman
HHH vs. Rollins
Wyatt vs. Orton
Ambrose vs. Ellsworth
New Day vs. Enzo and Cass -- tag titles
Something involving Miz and Bryan

(Pre-show) Alexa Bliss vs. Nikki Bella -- SD Women's title

In terms of running the biggest fresh matches in terms of star power (forget about match quality as that would be a completely different card) they could try:

Cena vs Taker

Goldberg vs Reigns

Styles vs Orton vs Wyatt

Triple H vs Rollins

Lesnar vs Strowman

Bayley vs Sasha vs Charlotte

Owens vs Jericho

Miz vs Dean Ambrose

New Day vs Enzo and Cass

Nikki Bella vs Alexa Bliss

Andre Battle Royale

Obviously it will be nothing like that, but: The top two matches would be phenomenal for the crowd reactions alone. HHH/Rollins and Owens/Jericho matches seem obvious. Women's feuds seem like the best possible combos available. Miz and Ambrose could have a great build up promo wise. I feel like Orton will try to break away from Wyatt soon enough, so if that programme becomes hot they could involve the WWE title and Styles, who needs to get away from the repetitive Ambrose and Ellsworth horseshit. Strowman is one of the few wrestlers who can be booked as a legit threat to Lesnar. Tag match includes the only tag teams that are close to hot or that matter, plus New Day could do with a heel turn (not that it will happen because selling cereal is more important dur).

If I was to put together a card that would produce the best quality matches in terms of ring work then it would look nothing like that at all. Then again I hardly like any of the current ring work, so might as well have a spectacular card with big moments and torch passing.

The actual card is likely to have a bunch of rematches, which is a problem with the current brand split and thin rosters in terms of people that are over.

It's the near perfect card actually.

This really is the last year they can do Taker/Cena at Wrestlemania and what a perfect opportunity. I literally wouldn't know who would win either going into the match. Considering it looks like Taker is retiring at Survivor Series, does he win here and lose in his retirement match or does he lose to Cena here and win his last match at Survivor Series?

Goldberg/Reigns would be incredible for crowd reactions, it would be absolutely BRUTAL for Reigns, especially when he ends up beating Goldberg with the spear too.

HHH/Rollins and Jericho/Owens as you say seem to write themselves right now. Though I wonder where Balor fits in - he'll be back before Wrestlemania and he'll be included somewhere, especially as he hasn't really lost his title..

I think Strowman SHOULD be in either Goldberg or Lesnar match - I think Strowman/Lesnar works in the sense that he is built as a credible threat to Lesnar yet losing to Lesnar doesn't hurt Strowman in any way and shows that he CAN be beat.. plus if he continues to improve and get better and better, with how young Lesnar is still, no reason why Strowman can't end up getting a win back within a few years. Why do I see them going with Strowman winning the Andre Battle Royal though instead? fpalm

I like the card - like you say, it's probably not going to happen as Goldberg/Lesnar seems a lock but I'd much rather your card.
