If he was to leave could that mean Paige might want out of her deal to go with him.
Alberto Del Rio apparently has a clause in his contract he signed with WWE back in September that allows him an out if he.s not happy in the company.
While Del Rio is making big money with the promotion, they aren.t exactly doing anything with him. Del Rio can make big money working in Mexico and Lucha Underground and do so by working less dates. TNA has also show interest in him, however he put down TNA while doing PR work while he was in India.
As noted, Del Rio has not been happy with his relationship situation with Paige, as the two have been split up as a result of the WWE Draft.
Truth to the report or not.. After what he pulled I will be HIGHLY perturbed with LU/AAA if they let him back in the doors. He in no way deserves it.
What did this idiot expect? That WWE was suddenly going to learn to or care enough to book/write him a character better than what LU/AAA was giving him? Was it worth it to return to a place that you left under circumstances of discrimination?
People ignoring why he left LU and AAA. AAA makes you pay them a portion of your salary to work LU. ADR hadn't even been paid his money for said salary by AAA when he jumped back to wwe. ADR is a real grown up, he wants to cash them checks and AAA/LU weren't doing that for him. He himself said they still owed him money when he debuted vs Cena again
Mysterio had a similar issue but Rey lawyers up and used connections to get what was owed to him
Didnt he just peace out on AAA/LU when he was still champ or something? It would be hilarious if Paige quit to be with him and they broke up and she came back. Or if Del Rio quits before they air him on Total Divas.
There's two reasons wrestlers still work for the WWE, exposure and money. Storylines are horrible, production values are stale, commentary is getting nobody over and the wrestlers get no creative freedom. It's a sad state of affairs and I wouldn't blame ADR if he actually left again.
Meltzer and Alvarez had a talk on ADR one time, basically talking about what a good potential star the guy is and how WWE has fucked him up time and time and time again. And I agree 100%. Even when they first started pushing ADR years ago, I thought he was a fucking excellent talent, the best bigger athletic guy they had since Brock. And they always end up ruining him. Remember his return to the company? That was OVER. He got CHEERED. And then he's in "MexAmerica" with fucking Zeb Coulter. And then the League of Jobbers. I remember a month or two ago he did a backstage promo with Zayn, which was excellent and made me think WHERE IS THIS GUY? He has some star qualities, but WWE can't ever and will never get past the fact that he's Mexican and they need him to be their "Mexican star".

WORST CLAUSE EVER!! WWE is paying this guy millions yet are allowing him to leave if he is not happy....

I think Del Rio might still have a chance as a face in the midcard. Right now I wouldn't blame him if he wanted out, this last run has been pretty terrible.
He's been handled terribly so I wouldn't be surprised if he's gone within a few months. Talented guy but really wasted. I wouldn't complain if he took Paige with him.
Even if the clause exists, I doubt he's going anywhere :maisie3
