RAW and SmackDown

RAW:

Marked improvement. Actually calling matches. Decent flow. The fatal fours were ok, particularly the first which was stellar.. the second was meh. It wasn't bad its first time out. Jury still out on whether they'll keep it up or just fall back.

SmackDown:

Absolute putrid shit-on-a-stick. Just what the fuck? No really... just what the fuck? JBL is Cancer in this New Era. He sticks out like a sore thumb. About the only person on the announce desk they should keep is Mauro.

The flow was trash. Oh my god.. Natalya and Lynch for the hundredth time. Followed by.. WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT SHIT. Random girls coming out and just embarrassing the shit out of themselves in a rushed segment. Oh.. and the Red Cherry on top.. that announced 'entrance' by Eva Marie... HAHAHHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHHAHAAHAHHAHAHAAH. Just wow. Worst entrance in human history.

We figured it was the case, but they're not even trying to hide it. Its clear that SmackDown has about as much chance of winning as Bernie Sanders did. When the WWE goes out of their way to tank a product.. just wth. Its clear they took all the bad feedback from RAW and pushed it to SmackDown along with every subpar or over-the-hill star, to try to 'blame' it on Shane and DB. They even had Styles job clean to Ziggler of all people, just to make sure SmackDown got cut off at the knees.

I'm sure it all comes with a card that says 'chicken shit.. have fun trying to make salad given we're booking this show too. <3 Steph.' on it. Meanwhile, all of the smark feedback is being fed to RAW and being used to improve the product.

Oh.. and Cesaro better be like.. NEVER MIND I LOVE RAW! Cause he dodged a bullet that he tried to walk into right there.

Ambrose v Neville actually sounds interesting. Ziggler is literally a preshow jobber.

It sure seems WWE went out of their way to make Smackdown as unwatchable as possible, what a mess.
I truly feel bad for DB, Shane, Becky (especialy her, wow she got shafted), Dean and AJ that has to try to polish this turd
I'm sure Vince had a night off on Monday and was back for last night.

No, its not. Because everything good and/or new is being shoved to RAW. Cruiserweights? Check. Squash matches. Check. Serious calling of matches? Check.

Meanwhile you have Chuckles, the Fucking Announcer(JBL) 'calling' SmackDown, likely with express orders to just keep on 'doing that JBL Thing' to undercut the action.

Introduce the characters in the stupidest way possible that nobody is sure to remember who they are, except for Eva Marie.. who gets the most insane entrance that people are still trying to forget.

Oh, and when you get pissed at the Clown Car that is SmackDown, Vince has made sure to put Shane and DB's dead corpses in the trunk... all while.. wait for it.. 'its their fault!' as they drive this car to the cemetary.

Smackdown isn't so bad, today's episode wasn't great but there it tonnes to look forward to.
Ziggler getting a career repair and another chance.
American Alpha debut
Shelton Benjamin return
Surely new tag titles and womens title will come
Apollo Crews looked great, development of character will happen

Smackdown was straight up awful. The only silver lining was Rhyno, and he's way past his prime, so that speaks volumes about the mediocrity of the product. They put everything we love about WWE on RAW, and everything we hate about WWE on Smackdown, along with a lackluster roster. So much for the return of the "Smackdown 6" days that many were hoping for. I have no reason to watch this garbage besides Alexa.

They really need to sort Smackdown out fast. I actually had hope for that main event, and then Ziggler won, and i was left utterly bemused. Bray should have been the one to go over there i think. Ziggler shouldn't be anywhere near the main event until he has a heel turn, at the VERY least. And he pinned AJ fucking Styles, really now.

The women's division has potential but they really had the worst way possible to introduce people like Alexa and Carmella. They also need a women's belt, the hell are they fighting for if there's nothing to work towards? At least Becky beat that wooden plank Natalya i suppose.

Same with the tag division, AA debuting next week, sweet, what are they going to do exactly? What are they working towards as a team? Clearly nothing right now. At least Shelton coming back will be interesting. I'm willing to give them time but they need to kick it up a notch, make real waves.

RAW was much better this week, no doubt about it. However i'm struggling to see how they can possibly continue to keep a quality 3 hours show in the long term, they can't keep having wrestlers pulling double duty and having 4 matches that are relevant (Fatal 4 Way 1,2, Womens Title Match, Balor v Reigns) go 15 mins+.

Where as in the coming weeks Smackdown will continue to develop the main feuds of Ambrose v Ziggler, Cena v AJ and continue building up Orton v Brock every week. The tag team division will also be getting much more screen time after getting a whopping 1 minute this week. All of these attributes + Wyatt, the Women and The Miz can easily fill out 2 hours.

I'd wait a month until all the dust settles until we can make decision of which show is better because RAW is going to have to do a lot of character development and building of wrestlers in order to succesfully fill the three hours without having a whole bunch of filler or pointless matches that go 15+ (Kevin Owens/Jericho v Sami Zayn/Cesaro n.287)

In other words RAW blew their load quick whereas SD LIVE played it smart and didn't have everything right away. Let's see which approach succeed

I swear Vince gets turned on by inflicting humiliation, because that's exactly what he's done to Smackdown this week . The show has already been stripped of all pride and dignity, and Vince probably has a raging erection over it. The only positive is that Shelton Benjamin is coming back, but geez at the start of the show when they had the roster surround the ring I truly realised just how shit and thin it is. Smackdown probably needs another 3 or 4 faces (on top of Rhyno and Benjamin).

That's what happens when you have 6 of your top 8 singles talents concentrated in one match and your top tag team debuting the following week. Seriously, I don't see how people can look at the format at this show and not see that this is probably as bad as Smackdown will be for a few weeks. As I stated before, you'll have multiple top feuds scattered across the roster: AJ V Cena, Bray's feud, Orton's build up to Summer Slam, and Ziggler vs Ambrose. That's four segments worth of content as compared to the 2 they were compacted into last night. The foundation has been laid by showing that anyone can get a push at any moment. Now they just need to follow through with good build. Not an excellent episode by any stretch, but the groundwork is being laid.

I knew SD was fucked after the draft when RAW got the better roster. I'm convinced Vince is letting HHH run RAW for the most part. RAW had that NXTesque type of feel. Add in the fact that the cruiserweight division is also on RAW and that's further proof HHH is calling the shots. Meanwhile, since SD is now live, Vince has his hands all over it.

Funny how Shane & Bryan were saying how the show wasn't going to be about them but they come out at the end of show and steal the spotlight from Ambrose & Ziggler. :lmao :lmao

SD was pretty bad. It was a badly booked show with mostly meh at best segments and with only two hours to fill.

Raw hasn't even debuted the Cruiserweight division yet. So, they are about to get huge influx of good matches, with all of them competing for the CW Title. I'm pumped about that. The roster is loaded. SD has basically no mid-card. It's a huge problem.

Fine with me, actually. I don't have any particular loyalty to either show so all I see is WWE just went from 5 hours of absolute trash per week to 2 hours of trash per week and 3 hours of something possibly worth watching. So that's what? A 60% improvement overall?
Would I prefer it if WWE just cut all the over the hill and trash "superstars" and made everything worth watching? Absolutely! But If I they just push the trash on to one show and make it so I can safely ignore it all without missing the good stuff, I'm good.

I do feel bad for Ambrose and Becky Lynch though. They're too good to be stuck on the shitty show.

SmackDown has low starts than Raw, how do you expect a big show in the first day? To soon.

Give SmackDown two months and will see how better they're.

They need to build every wrestler that Vince buried in the past: Miz, Ziggler, Corbin, Baron, Vaudevillains, Naomi, Nattie, Breezango, Ryder, etc
