How about a trade: Owens for Kalisto?

Even though Owens was taken almost 20 picks earlier, SD can kayfabe play it up like they have RAW over a barrel. RAW "needs" Kalisto to get their Cruiserweight division off the ground. That, and as long as Zayn and Owens are on the same show, neither of them will become the "stars" they were drafted to be. Moving one out will at least allow the other to reach his potential.

What do you think? RAW strengthens their baby that is the CW division, while SD adds some desperately needed main event potential. Aside from kayfabe, there is no reason for Kalisto to NOT be on the show that has the CW division.

Makes sense to me, Zayn/Owens should be kept away from each other and Kalisto not being in the CW division is just odd, it'd be beneficial all round.

I don't care how they do it but Owens or Zayn needs to be on Smackdown, it doesn't make sense for them to both be on Raw.

They are both kind of in the same position of mid carders who are looking to rise to main event status and it would be easier for both to achieve that on separate shows so they aren't in each others way.

If they are both on Raw then all that will happens is they will keep running into each other and that feud needs to be over for a long while.

The choice of Owens had more to do with SD being flush with babyfaces as it is. Cena, Ambrose, Orton(at the moment, at least), Ziggler. Some even think Wyatt should/will become more of a babyface. They need another top heel. RAW is pretty well stocked with them with Rollins and Reigns(both technically heels at the moment), Balor who is expected to run the Club, Lesnar, Jericho, Rusev, etc.

No offense to Kalisto, but I'm getting a hell of a lot more than that for Owens. Raw only has 2 established main eventers with Rollins and Reigns. If I'm giving up Owens, I need someone of equal value like Orton or Wyatt.
Perhaps, but again this is just as much about getting a top CW to RAW as it is getting a potential star to SD. Maybe it can be expanded upon to even out the value. Then again, if you take kayfabe out of the equation, it's the same company so value means nothing. The reasons I stated in the OP should be enough to sell the trade.

Chia was desperate for that RHD, lol. To be fair, I do think Larsson is very good and could be great, but yeah...he should have gotten at least a 1st added in.

Hey, at least you have McDavid.

Can't see it happening. Maybe for somebody like Cesaro instead. Honestly prefer Kalisto on SD because not being in the cruiserweight division on Raw, he won't be limited to only wrestling the lower level cruisers of the brand. On SD, he has a chance to go against the top guys like Cena, Orton, Ambrose, Wyatt, Styles, and a win, or even just being in a feud with them puts him in a higher rank than a Neville, or Sin Cara (Currently the only cruiserweights on Raw by the way, LOL). So being a fan of Kalisto, I like him better where he is, plus losing a potential main eventer in Kevin Owens severely hurts Raw's stock since they only have Rollins, and Reigns at the top.
I don't necessarily agree with that. WITH Kalisto you'll have: Kalisto, Neville, Sin Cara, Zayn, Rollins(can make appearances when needed), Balor, Kofi, Jericho(it's the division he built his career on), and then guys like Itami and Aries when they make the jump. If anything, being concerned about the depth of the division is all the more reason to add Kalisto over to RAW.

Cw competitors should be completely separate from rest of roster and never or very rarely interact with main roster members and and certainly never wrestle main roster members. If you have metalik, ibushi, zsj etc in a division you certainly don't need kalisto who is miles below those guys in terms of stardom or in-ring ability

Moving Owens to sd would do nothing for me. He would be behind cena, Ambrose, Orton, Wyatt and aj styles in the pecking order probably swapping wins with del Rio, swagger, Corbin and crews in the midcard with pretty much zero chance of maineventing a show between now and the next draft in April/may 2017

At least on raw once lesnar is off tv post summerslam he will only have rollins and reigns above him and be in an upper midcard with zayn, Jericho, balor and cesaro one or two of who have to mainevent between summerslam and mania otherwise reigns and rollins mainevent 7 ppvs together between now and then

He'd have all of one more guy ahead of him on SD than he would on RAW. Ambrose, Cena, and AJ. I don't see any way guys like Wyatt and Orton will remain ahead of him long-term. The point is, RAW has a bunch of those "potential" main event types, while SD has very few. Maybe Wyatt although at this point it's difficult to buy, and possibly Corbin depending on how you view him. On RAW, he'll have to compete with Zayn, Rusev, and Balor as well as the established top guys. Perhaps even Cesaro depending on how you view his upside. On SD he's basically an instant main eventer.

I'd like to see Owens go to Smackdown, but a trade like this is only gonna work if there is a planned NXT call up coming Raw's way e.g. Samoa Joe or Austin Airies. Rollins and Reigns are obviously the top 2 guys on the Raw roster, but after that it's Owens, Balor and Rusev. No way can Raw lose one of their biggest stars for a midcarder like Kalisto.

definitely makes sense, KO should've be on Smackdown, he would strengthen the midcard for sure, and hopefully be booked/pushed properly. Maybe they'll do a trade soon? *shrugs* Though if im vince, i'm guessing i'd make it a match gimmick, winner goes to such and such, loser goes to here or something. I say that with fun...but it'll probably happen lol.

Yeah raw trading a future wrestlemania headliner and top five mic worker in the roster for an undersized Lucha guy who has the worst mic skills in the wwe and has already bombed his only solo push and completely devalued the us title from the heights that Rusev and Cena put it at

Makes a lot of sense. How about RAw trades Alicia Foxx for John Cena because smackdown needs divas

I'm thinking Cesaro is off to Smackdown what with this whole 'shoot' business. May have my tinfoil hat firmly on here, but I've got to say either this is an angle already or they're going to work it into one. To be honest I just find it hard to believe that if Cesaro had truly went off script in his post-draft interview that they would give him the mic and have him sit on that pre-show panel for the PPV.

EDIT: Okay maybe not such a tinfoil hat job, considering I just saw a few other people suggesting a similar thing :lol

Yes please. Raw is absolute garbage where shite like Balor get megapushes. Get Owens off that show, his abundance of talent will just hold him back on Raw, they seem to be all about pushing the most boring wrestlers to the top on that show.

Get Rusev and KO off Raw so I can ignore the awfulness that is Raw altogether.

That's the worst trade I've ever seen, that'd be like trading AJ Styles for R-Truth. Raw will have plenty of people to pick from the Cruiserweight Classic that they don't need to give up one of their top 5 stars, and even if they really needed Kalisto, it's not worth Owens. Kalisto should be traded for a low card pick like the Shining Stars, to give SmackDown another tag team.
