Assuming there is only one world title then 2018 but if there is two then in 6 or so months or in 2017

He needs to win the intercontinental title as that's the only major championship he has left to win. Hopefully he can build it up like he did with the US title. I really hope he doesn't win another World Championship again. He should fill in Undertaker's position as he's a veteran and doesn't really need a world title.

He's bound to get his 16th title at some point. I honestly think it's going to be within the next year too.

If a second world title is introduced, then I think he'll get it before the year is out. If they stick with the one world title, probably not until Summerslam 2017 at the earliest.

When he can stay uninjured for longer than 6 months. The way his body has been I think they are hesitant. An I don't buy that his fully committed to working with WWE anymore

He really should win it again. He's still the most over guy they've got, and as much as I was on the anti-Cena bandwagon for so many years, he has been brilliant in the past year+. The US open challenge was the saving grace of Raw last year and he was having great matches with all the young talent and he made a completely meaningless belt relevant again (until they completely botched it once he got injured).

The World title has been booked terribly since Brock lost it. Brock had made the World title have prestige again, and the booking of Seth winning it at Mania was absolutely brilliant, however they made Seth a joke after that, constantly being pinned week after week in non-title matches or tag matches. I've never in 30 years of watching wrestling seen a World champion pinned so many times as when Seth was champion... and Seth should have been a great champion, he's got it all. This weeks two title matches on Raw & Smackdown proved how little the title means at the moment, with the Raw rating falling from the week before and having the 3rd hour rating drop below hour 1 & 2 with an announced World title match a week ahead of time.

With Cena now being SmackDown exclusive what is bigger than beating Cena at WrestleMania for the WWE/World title for any SmackDown wrestler ? I'd be perfectly happy with Cena winning the SmackDown title at Survivor Series then dropping it to Dean Ambrose or AJ Styles or even Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 33.

Cena won't win anymore world titles though they should have Cena face Miz for the IC title so Cena finally gets his Grand-Slam before going part-time. It'd be a sweet karma flashback to when Cena lost the WWE title to Miz thanks to Rock's interference.

He'll win it again in order to drop it to the guy they're going to push to supplant and replace him. That was obviously Roman before the wellness violation, but Reigns will be more Orton than Cena moving forward. Historically, Vince has never pushed a guy popped for a wellness violation as the very top guy. There's no chance Cena lays down for him.

They're clearly experimenting with Dean currently. If he moves the needle on SD as a champ next ti John, they'll tease the feud to gauge fan reaction, and they knew what they were doing last night with Cena raising his arm. If Vince feels confident Ambrose is his guy after 6 months to a year of looking at the ticket and merchandise sales Ambrose moved during his push, he'll put the belt on John and Cena will drop it to him. If Dean fails, currently I think the only other options for Vince will be Seth or Cass.
