I hope Triple H runs the creative of SmackDown!

The guy did wonders with NXT. Whatever we think about him and his huge ego, we must admit the guy understands today's wrestling much better than Vince does.

Vince is old as fuck. He won't let go of the product in his final years with the company. He will run all of the creative aspects of the company until he goes away for good.

I hope so too, so we can squash the notion of HHH being a "genius" creative person :lol NXT is probably the most overrated show ever, and HHH, while actively doing a lot on the creative side for RAW, has proven to be just as big a moron as the rest of them. I have no idea why anyone thinks he's the answer to anything.

NXT booking is so overrated. Outside of KO vs Zayn the NXT Title scene has always been boring, the tag division has nearly always been dead, so many boring characters in NXT thesedays just going from random match to random match. The only really good booking NXT has ever had outside of Kevin Owens was the 4 Horsewomen. 3 of them are gone, since then things have been alright but nothing special. NXT is verging on pretty bad as an overall product thesedays, but it is only a developmental brand.

What I meant more than anything was the little things, such as giving wrestlers more freedom on the mic instead of scripting every comma, and letting things develop organically instead of trying to brand everything and make everyone sick of it by beating us over our head with it. Case in point, when NXT pushed women, they didn't shove Divas Revolution and all that shit down our throats, they just DID IT, they gave them a main event of a show and it was a more effective revolution than WWE ever did.

It'll be Ryan Ward probably.

Vince needs to step down, absolutely.

He won't. But he should.

Where does this idea of Shane Mcmahon and Paul Heyman booking being something special?

They have no track record when it comes to booking, both great performers, but:

Shane has never been demonstrated to book a great show.

Paul Heyman has a poor track record with ECW(which didn't draw and was for a small fanbase) and Smackdown! from 2002-2003(Which decreased heavily in ratings, promos, roster, writing and in ring wrestling from it's 1999-2002 height)

Just because they are great performers on screen doesn't mean that they would be great bookers, I wouldn't make The Rock a booker just because he's one of the greatest performers of all time.

Go with someone who at least drew huge at least once, even if they had a slump once or twice or bring in a fresh new producer straight out of College who is more into present culture than Heyman and Shane are.

ECW had a small platform and Heyman's time on smackdown beat Raw on ratings and live show attendance.

Sounds like Kevin Dunn is going to Smackdown, so Raw is the "rasslin show".

Paul Heyman's smackdown was the decline of smackdown.

1999-2002 was Smackdown's height.
