Why cant WWE book Reigns as a heel and Rollins as a face?

Its this simple; Fans hate Reigns and love Rollins yet the WWE are dead set on pushing Reigns as there next top babyface star and Rollins as there next top heel. Its just not working, so when will they face the music and give up on this failed experiment and do whats best for business?

Nah but they already did that a while back when Reigns refused to shake HHH's hand and said that he 'earned everything in life". Plus, he just beat HHH in WM, so it is highly unlikely they would have HHH come out to turn Reigns heel. Even if WWE creative got their heads out of Vince's anus there isn't a chance that Roman will become the Authority's new 'man'.

They want Reigns to be the top guy, and they clearly didn't want Rollins to do a Triple H and just instantly become a face upon his return.

No matter how tired people become of Reigns as a face, and no matter how sensible it would be to turn him, it's just not gonna happen, definitely not any time soon.

Fans love Rollins, sure but he has no problem getting them to hate him as a heel. I rather not see Seth's character made subservient to Roman's to the point where they sacrifice it by doing an out of nowhere 180 turn on it and make him be face with no reason or development just to turn Roman heel so that fans have the right reaction to him (if that even happens).

Seth's latest promo was perfectly consistent with his heel character and his face turn should be the same, a slow and reasonable development.

Also you need to consider that given their background, there is just no way that Roman can be the heel on this feud. It wouldn't make sense.

Because the businessman that brought WWE to the top has abused steroids and cocaine for years, taken man chairshots to the head, has no actual competition, and has always had a psychotic need for control and for things to go his way.

Scott Hall has quoted Vince McMahon as preferring half full arenas cheering the people he wants to full arenas cheering someone else. He's getting his wish I guess.

Is he? Or are you just making shit up. Find me these half full arenas for any raw. Didnt they capture the largest gate in wrestling history at mania? Arent network subscriptions going up and up?

As much as I'd prefer it if Rollins was face and Roman was heel it'd make no sense right now. Rollins came back as a heel with a great heel promo so an instant turn would be silly at this point. I will say though that the way Steph rejected Rollins could be a sign that a turn is on the way in the future. If it was me I'd keep Reigns in this weird tweener position whilst slow burning Rollins into a face role further down the line. If Reigns' reaction don't improve (likely) then you can easily turn him heel in a way that makes sense without it just being "he's getting booed, ok he's heel now" which to me is just as bad as any of the other times they fuck their own story up. Ideally for me Reigns would be Heel, Rollins as Face and Dean as a Tweener by WM next year for a Shield Triple Threat match.

I'm hoping for a double turn at mitb. I really like them both and a double turn is what's best for both and best for business.

Part of me hopes double turn is a part of this story. Either this, or HHH solely screwing Seth over, thus setting up their feud. Meanwhile KO can stalk Roman with a briefcase.

Because heres comes the money, the money money money. Got a Dollar Ding Ding Got a Dollar. Because Vince wants Reigns as the face. Simple as that. Even if Reigns starts murdering people. Vince would still want Reigns as a face. He is a senile old man who is well out of touch. I mean if a Monkey booked this show. Or watched it. They be like Reigns Heel, Seth Face.

Because it makes no sense for him to come back and just randomly change his entire character and become a good guy. It just makes no sense. If he turns face it needs to be for a reason and needs to be caused by something storyline wise.

If rollins had come back as a face I would have been seriously annoyed as it would of been completely illogicial. Fortunately HHH and seth have a better mind for the business than the masses of "smart" fans who wanted him to be a face.

Imagine a tv show where a character disappears for 6 months. He is an evil bad guy. Then he comes back and he has totally changed and is a good guy. Please ffs think of the need for consistency in tv. I know its wrestling but ffs I would like it to actually make sense SOMETIMES.

There isn't going to be a turn. You guys need to face the facts already. WWE think it's totally okay these days to have a top guy that fans loathe, because "it worked for Cena" even though it really didn't work that well for Cena. I mean it worked better than it will for Roman, since Cena is actually talented. But Cena being the top guy for 10 years has made the company worse a lot more than it's made it better.

WWE thinks because Conor McGregor and Ronda Rousey are polarizing that it means they can push people as faces that the audience clearly doesn't like or give a shit about. Thing is...Conor/Ronda are both great talents who fans pay money to watch compete. Roman Reigns ain't that. Cena is barely that anymore.
