The overacting aside, I thought Charlotte cut a solid promo.
Never been a fan, but credit to where credit it due. She's been nailing it in her heel role and has improved so much, probably the most improved of the women as far as I'm concerned.
They may as well keep the title on her because she's the only interesting thing in the division rn.
I'm SO glad she got rid of Flair. It's past time for her to be on her own and kill it, similarly to how she did in NXT with the Genetically Superior gimmick. I love Charlotte's progress thus far and have no complaints. Her mic work was the only hindrance in her game prior to tonight.
It would be unfair to judge her currently she's only been on the Main Roster for a year, you can't compare that to people like Trish, Blayze and Lita who've left their impact and served their years of service to WWE. Maybe once the four horsewomen serve their time and maybe even retire then we can consider her or people like Lynch, Bayley or Banks the GOAT in the WWE Women's Division
Improvement, yes. Still beneath several women when it comes to the mic. She got rattled there and the segment went way longer than it should have (maybe not her fault admittedly) and it just went off the rails. But she was nearly there for a little bit. Potential is still there for sure.
I may get alot of hate for this. But if their is anyone on the main roster. Whos actually GOAT worthy. ITs not Charlotte, its Paige. The complete package. As it is the True GOAT is AJ Lee

I liked the segment. Not gonna lie, it was a bit messy and awkward at times, and I don't think she's quite there yet in terms of mic skills, but the segment did its job. It got good heat on her. And I felt terrible for Ric.
She is a brilliant heel, I know that much. Whoever takes the title off her will get a big rub for doing so.
She also carries herself like a star and generally has more good matches than she does bad. I don't think I'll ever be a massive fan of hers but she is a great asset for the women's division and is rightly the top heel for the foreseeable future.
I'm not going to dismiss that at all. It's a valid point and I do agree that she did look like she was about to cry at some points. Pretty high degree of difficulty, though. Some of the things she was saying was shit that was absolutely real. Shit that probably actually did hurt her as a kid. Plus she knows that there has to be some guilt there with Ric. Just like I'm sure there is with any parent in this business. All im gonna say here is that I do cut her a little slack due to this fact. I think sje did pretty well overall. Do agree that had her acting been better that it could have been even better though.
Hopefully she stops the damn Ric Flair tribute gimmick. She should right? So I better hear a new theme song. Gets a new finisher. Stop doing the woo, strut, and etc. I swear if she comes out doing all the same things she's been doing after that promo :nikkilol
Maybe down the road? I suppose it could be within the realm of possibility (especially if she continues being pushed to the moon while everyone else gets fucked by injuries or booking). But as of now? No.
It was a little rough, but did the job. I feel like if she went out there and immediately kicked Ric to the curb people would have been cheering, it's really what everyone wanted for a long time.
She had to drum up some mega-heat so they'ed boo and everyone could feel bad for Ric. Right way to send off the old man, I'd have hated to see a legend like Flair getting put of of the ring like that getting cheered.
Why are people in this thread changing the subject? TO oh her promo was good. The question was Is she the GOAT. IS that a Rhetorical Question? Hell no.
