Seth Rollins is expected back on WWE TV shortly. Rollins has been filming WWE Studios' movie "Temple" in New Orleans.

Randy Orton's rehab is said to be going much slower than expected but he's recovering. Word is that Orton could start training for a ring return at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando in mid-June.

I'm wondering if he returns as a face and they do HHH/Rollins at Summerslam, or if he returns as Triple H's lacky again and they stretch out the HHH/Rollins match until Mania 33. I'm starting to think Rollins should be face and LSDean should go heel. There's really not much else for Dean to do and he's been sinking on the mic.

Orton should go back to the mid-card and work with Rusev, Owens, Zayn and Cesaro. Owens/Orton feud would be great.

Rollins as face and Dean as heel would definitely be interesting. It would spice up the very stale post-Shield scenario by a lot.

Ambrose/Orton with Orton as a face would also work, and also - Owens/Orton as already mentioned. Dean strikes me as being a more natural heel. His goofball face character just doesn't cut it. Can see Orton having one final run at the top, I don't see much more than a couple of World titles at the very MAX for Orton at this point in his career. Even that might be asking for a lot. Orton seemed very bored the previous time he was around.

Rollins just has to return as a face. If WWE had any shred of creative decency, they'd turn Reigns heel and have him feud with the returning face Rollins - but we all know that that isn't true and it isn't gonna happen.

Seth absolutely needs to come back as a face, i think it'd be silly to bring him back as a heel at this point.

Orton, when he does return, needs to be heel, it's his natural role, he's very, very dull as a face.

Edge and Orton are on the same level
Yeah, I agree. I'd rate Orton slightly higher - just a tad, but that's more due to personal preference. It's a fairly even comparison.

Lesnar, Batista, Punk and Bryan were never long term fixtures, at least not as long as Orton was. Orton is the only one who is truly standing from that batch of wrestlers...Lesnar is part time, Batista left in 2010, Punk left cuz he hated WWE management...and Bryan had an unfortunate life threatening injury.

Being at the level Orton is at after like 14 years in this kind of business is impressive, to say the least.

Austin was the face of the company for 4 years at the most and Cena is for 10 years.

Still Austin is the bigger star.

Similarly, I would rate Bryan, Batista and Punk over Orton as far as impact in the business is concerned.

I’m still skeptical to think Seth will be back soon. I mean, I know it’s been 6 months and his recovery time was 6-9 months. But the guy fucked his knee bad. If soon means by late June/early July, I could buy that. But I don’t see him showing up any time this month.

As for Orton, like others I hope he’s a heel. Even though he’ll always be over as a face, he seems to be at his best as a heel. And, the roster needs more legit heels. Right now, we got Owens and Jericho and that’s about it.

I can't see Rollins as a heel for any long period of time upon return. He clearly has to face HHH somewhere down the line, considering there was a lot of build being done for such a storyline, and there's no way he's going to be anything other than a mega babyface for it.

Orton I have no clue. It would be cool if he would work with Styles in a feud that puts him over upon his return, along with other guys like Ambrose, Owens, etc. I think it's time to transition Orton from one of the top guys to a draw who'll work with midcard guys and elevate them into the main event, similar to what Jericho has done since around 2011 or so.

Rock and Austin left post 04. Which paved way for the new era. Cena, Orton, Lesnar, Batista etc. That time has come again. If we don't want Wcw 2000. Vets not wanting to give up their spots. Then need to produce new stars. So ortons best used to build the new stars. Wyatt, Ambrose, Zayn, Balor , Rollins, Cesaro etc.

Hopefully Seth isn't just bum rushed right back into the Main Event. Reigns terrible booking at times aside it has felt fresh while during Seths reign it was just dull filler shit.

Looking forward to Randys return though, there's a lot of feuds there for him.

I expect Rollins not to challenge Reigns immediately but be involved in Shane/HHH angle. Shane might announce how he won't be the one to wrestle HHH at SummerSlam, as he has found a replacement: and then Rollins' music hits and everybody goes insane.

And Jesus, Orton has been out since November, so it's been 7 months. All because he Sin Cara'd taking out the trash.

I think Finn will debut at Extreme rules as a heel and the Bullet Club will lay out both Reigns and Styles.

Reigns doesn't turn heel and we get the same THE GUY promos for rest of the year.

Styles proceeds to job to Finn and Roman will fued with Rollins as a tweener and get booed out of every building he is in.

Randy Orton is getting paid like a main eventer to half-ass it for years together .. I would love to be in his spot, minus the injuries.
