It has to be the Nexus for me. Then followed by squashing the Wyatt's. Then burying Wade Barrett under all those chairs (or would that count under Nexus even though it was 1 on 1?).
The I Quit match he had with Randy Orton. The one where Orton for no logical reason decided to keep removing the handcuffs from the ring ropes instead of e.g. leaving Cena trapped and fetching a baseball bat.
Orton is built up as a monster/psycho heel during the summer of 07'. It looks set to be the Summer of Orton. He's looks like the first legitimate challenger to Cena's crown, and is the first cool heel since Triple H in 1999. There's strong buzz within wrestling fan/insider circles that Cena is going down to Orton. There's a big match feel, and surprisingly - a significant portion of the crowd is firmly behind Orton. The Orton support is obviously visible.
Orton hits the RKO. Crowd goes ballistic. Cena kicks out for the near fall. Then hits the FU/AA immediately, no selling the RKO, getting up like it was nothing. 1-2-3. CENAWINSLOL
Against Jericho in 08. This was Jericho's hottest year as one of the best heels of all time and fucking cunt Cena has to come back and take the belt from him and go back to doing the same old shit he was before. Y2J was one of the first veterans to put Cena over after he won the WWE Championship so it would have been nice for him to return the favor. Cena beating Brock in his return match was dumb as fuck. The Sandow cash-in is just depressing to even think about.

Not to derail the thread, but that "Honest Man" run was really something. It is the best heel run I've ever seen, like ever, in the 2.5 decades I've been on earth.
Sandow was probably the worst, Wyatts was awful too.
However the one that i can't get out of my head was against Ziggler on RAW during his US open challenge run, he literally just jumped up out of nowhere after being beaten up, hit the AA and won. Just make a gif of it and caption it with 'LOL' and it would go perfectly.

Cena getting his instant win back over Kevin Owens and then winning the feud last year in short time. Yet another example of WWE choosing to keep Cena in his spot over creating a new star in the main event scene.
It completely destroyed the impact Kevin Owens made on his RAW debut and his victory at Elimination Chamber.
They announced the rematch on the same show :Rollins
Man this seems like a fun thread, seriously :mark: :lol
I'll say Sandow only because it reminds me of that tweet that Mick Foley posted after the failed cash in :lmao
I'll add the table match he had with Seth Rollins. Talk about protecting superman :drake.
Also, wasn't there a match that was supposed to be Miz vs Cena but it was no DQ so Riley was involved the entire time. Didn't they kick his ass the entire match only for Cena to win in the end.
Brock lost 0% credibility with whatever losses he had to Cena though. Brock is a legit monster, a freak, he doesn't need building up. All he needs to do is just show up.
The others in this thread? Not so much. They were directly affected and made to look like chumps.
While annoying his superman comebacks are not really what bothers me the most. What really makes me scream inside is when someone does manage to beat him (clear or not), and Cena has to trash him in the next 2 ppv making him look like shit and a fluke, probably making him tap like a bitch in the middle of the ring to get his win back...and he probably pats himself in the back on his way to the backstage thinking well i did put him over once.
I'm going way back about a decade for mine. Christian FINALLY got over as a singles star and shined on his own. Despite how he was booked, he was still one the most popular members of the roster. It looked like Vince was gonna give him a chance. This was probably his peak in WWE. He built up so much momentum, he even got to interrupt Cena on his Raw debut. I thought this was his shot at the main event picture. He ended up getting repeatedly swatted like a fly, drafted to wallow in Smackdown and quit when he knew he wasn't gonna be successful in WWE.
I've always been a Cena supporter, but the one win that pissed me off was against Randy Orton at Summerslam 2007. At that point the fans frustrations with Cena always winning were at its breaking point. What makes matters worse is that Orton never defeated Cena to end his lengthy reign; instead the title was vacated.

Im actually surprised this hasnt been mentioned yet but to me the biggest CENAWINSLOL moment is against Rey Mysterio in 2011. Right after Punk left for a few weeks they did the tournament to crown a "new WWE Champion" Cena isnt in it, but Rey goes and wins his matches the first week on the tournament, the next week he beats Miz at the start of the show and is crowned champion, then Cena immediately comes out and challenges in kayfabe an already fatigued Rey and takes the title back later that night.
He didnt really bury Rey per say but its classic Cena to me, and reminds me of Hogan at Wrestlemania 9. I mean he could have waited till the next week or something, it boggles my mind.
Like the Sandow "burial" for instance. Have people actually watched that match? Sandow was competitive and almost won but was beaten by the top guy after a hard fought match. Hardly a burial. It was Sandows booking afterwards that buried him.
Though The Miz comes to mind actually. After Miz wins at Mania, Cena then easily beats him in two matches including an I Quit Match(? may have been Last Man Standing) and Miz is done as a Main Eventer...All that fantastic work to slowly build Miz up the card, then Main Event status, he wins at WM, he proves he belongs in the Main Event and then WWE just have Cena destroy him and banish him to a career of jobbing to geeks like AJ Styles and Dolph Ziggler.

Cena had an injured arm, which Sandow repeatedly targeted the whole match yet still CENAWINSLOL.
Keep trying hard though my little "anti-smark". :grin2::wink2:
Him beating Brock and then shrugging it off and doing that promo was lame, think even Brock had issue with it. I just hate how Cena has to always shrug things off, it takes away from both guys.
Yeah, not sure how true it is but i firmly believe it TBH, that Lesnar was properly pissed at Cena staying out there and cutting that fucking promo, instead of selling the beating like he should have.
