Spring is upon us and while most of us are doing our own Spring Cleaning getting rid of unwanted clothes and bric-a-brac in our homes, WWE may decide to release some of their talent to make room for the former TNA stars and Global Cruiserweights that are coming into the screen. Recent released talent such as Rich Brennan and Kyle Edwards could be the start of the yearly cull and could soon be moved to in-ring talent.
Who do you think will be getting the boot from the Main Roster or even NXT? Here are my 5 predictions:
El Torito: With Los Matadores looking to be completely re-packaged, it seems that creative will have nothing to do for the little bull. Can't see him being a used in any fashion unless he is a surprising entry into the Global Crusierweight Tournament. But I REALLY doubt it.
Hornswoggle: Has not been on TV in what could possibly be more than a year never mind months. With no Chavo or El Torito to feud with, is there anything that can be done with him? Unless WWE have a really good story line reveal and decide to ruin it by using Hornswoggle as the reveal.
Damien Sandow: It's with a heavy heart I put this guy here. I think that if the WWE could not capitalize on him when he was Mr MITB or getting the huge reactions when he turned on The Miz last year there really is no hope for him in the world of WWE. It would be better for him to try his luck in TNA, ROH or even LU just so his talent could not be wasted.
Jack Swagger: A cryptic tweet Jack posted could be seen that he is on his way out of WWE. I don't think that was the case though but I do think he is more out the door than in. His run as anti-immigrant with Zeb Colter got him a WM WHC match and he did quite well as the All American Patriot against Rusev he doesn't seem to have done much. Maybe he could have had a mini push against The League Of Nations on the build up to their break up but alas he is a regular on Main Event and Superstars. Unless he moves up the card then I can see him be wished good luck in his future endevours.
Darren Young: It's funny to think that even when Titus was not suspended, Darren Young didn't get TV time as part of that team. It seems that WWE is quite high on Mr O'Neil which seems to be pushing Darren Young to the wayside a bit. He wasn't ever a huge player, even as part of Nexus and rarely even made it to the mid card. He is a good hand to have in the ring and nothing wrong with the spot as jobber to the stars, but I think WWE have a few too many of those and Darren could be on the chopping block this spring.
Those are my 5 picks who I think we could possibly see for the last time on WWE TV soon. Who do you think will be wished well and why?
