WWE Spring Cleaning Predictions?

Spring is upon us and while most of us are doing our own Spring Cleaning getting rid of unwanted clothes and bric-a-brac in our homes, WWE may decide to release some of their talent to make room for the former TNA stars and Global Cruiserweights that are coming into the screen. Recent released talent such as Rich Brennan and Kyle Edwards could be the start of the yearly cull and could soon be moved to in-ring talent.

Who do you think will be getting the boot from the Main Roster or even NXT? Here are my 5 predictions:

El Torito: With Los Matadores looking to be completely re-packaged, it seems that creative will have nothing to do for the little bull. Can't see him being a used in any fashion unless he is a surprising entry into the Global Crusierweight Tournament. But I REALLY doubt it.

Hornswoggle: Has not been on TV in what could possibly be more than a year never mind months. With no Chavo or El Torito to feud with, is there anything that can be done with him? Unless WWE have a really good story line reveal and decide to ruin it by using Hornswoggle as the reveal.

Damien Sandow: It's with a heavy heart I put this guy here. I think that if the WWE could not capitalize on him when he was Mr MITB or getting the huge reactions when he turned on The Miz last year there really is no hope for him in the world of WWE. It would be better for him to try his luck in TNA, ROH or even LU just so his talent could not be wasted.

Jack Swagger: A cryptic tweet Jack posted could be seen that he is on his way out of WWE. I don't think that was the case though but I do think he is more out the door than in. His run as anti-immigrant with Zeb Colter got him a WM WHC match and he did quite well as the All American Patriot against Rusev he doesn't seem to have done much. Maybe he could have had a mini push against The League Of Nations on the build up to their break up but alas he is a regular on Main Event and Superstars. Unless he moves up the card then I can see him be wished good luck in his future endevours.

Darren Young: It's funny to think that even when Titus was not suspended, Darren Young didn't get TV time as part of that team. It seems that WWE is quite high on Mr O'Neil which seems to be pushing Darren Young to the wayside a bit. He wasn't ever a huge player, even as part of Nexus and rarely even made it to the mid card. He is a good hand to have in the ring and nothing wrong with the spot as jobber to the stars, but I think WWE have a few too many of those and Darren could be on the chopping block this spring.

Those are my 5 picks who I think we could possibly see for the last time on WWE TV soon. Who do you think will be wished well and why?

The cynic in me thinks that they'll keep Darren Young around, but not due to his wrestling ability. Vince and Co. haven't done anything as of yet to publicly use Darren being gay, for the purpose of good PR and saying the WWE is progressive and inclusive, but I can see them keeping him so that they can keep that card in their back pocket.

Not saying I agree with or approve of that, just that I wouldn't put it past them.

Some women that aren't cast of TD anymore and they aren't willing to use them on wrestling programming, like Cameron maybe. WWE's running now two live events at the same time weekly, so those rumours about them taking a new approach and when possible, letting contracts expire rather than terminating them early and wishing people well in their future endeavors are probably true.

Doubt they'll be any substantial releases. Rich Brennan and a backstage crew member will probably be it tbh. They look like WCW 99-00 all over again with the fledgling ratings and the bizarre need to have like 150 members on the roster but only use like half of them.

At a guess..
Adam Rose most likely has done himself no favours recently so I doubt him being with WWE by the end of the year, he isn't going anywhere in WWE anyway.

Surely Alex Riley is going to be a TNA regular in the near future.

Rosa Mendes surely has to get her long deserved pink slip this year. The woman has been paid for nothing for the past decade, surely Michael Hayes can't save her much longer especially as she just had a child.

Speaking of talentless women Cameron I would imagine is a favourite to be let go. She simply is not cut out for WWE and is everything that is not the current women's revolution.

I think Titus O Neil will be gone once his contract is up.

I hope they do something with Fandango apart from the comedy dancing, he can offer much more if given the chance same with Damien Sandow.

With WWE having so many injuries they may not release anyone just yet so they are covered for all the events they do.

Would be delighted if Cameron was released though

WWE will never fire Darren Young as firing a gay man would make the company look bad

Damien, Rosa, Hornwoggle, El Torito, Fandango, Cameron, Alex Riley are talents I could see getting released

Why the hell David O Tunga is still employed I'll never know

I don't get why people seem to think just because Darren Young is gay that he is excempt from being released.
I'm gay myself and honestly that isn't how it works, everyone has the same employment rights, a company will only keep who is of value to them regardless of who they are, colour, gender, sexuality etc.
If Darren Young is of no further use to WWE he will be released simple as.

Here are mine:

Hornswoggle & El Torito: They have been seen as "Kevin Dunn Guys" but their TV time has been reduced due to Triple H getting more power backstage.

Heath Slater, Fandango, Jack Swagger, & Damien Sandow: Are mainly used on WWE Superstars and WWE Main Event.

Zeb Colter: Hasn't been seen much in recent months.

Cameron, Alicia Fox & Summer Rae: Have pretty much been overshadowed by Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and to a lesser extent, Paige & Natalya.

Stardust: The WWE almost always includes a surprise release and Stardust IMO is my choice this year. He has recently lost support from WWE Management and is not expected to get a push anytime soon due to him being addicted to the gimmick. His rumored release reminds me a lot like Chavo Guerrero's IMO. I don't expect Goldust or Eden Stiles to leave the WWE, however as Goldust has better WWE support than Stardust does and the WWE seem to like Stiles.
