Can Balor or Rollins usurp Reigns as face of the company?

We have seen this happen before. Orton was set to be the face of the company. However, the charismatic Cena got over with the crowd and we know what happened. Now Orton is no where close to Cena in terms of star power.

Will history repeat itself?

Since Reigns is getting rejected by the crowd as a babyface, can Balor or Rollins get over with the crowd to an extent where WWE will push them to the very top ..

If Reigns continues to be the face of the company, who will be the bigger star - Rollins or Balor?

Personally I think Rollins, because he is more established and has a high place in the current roster. Plus, with his highly anticipated return from injury, the crowd reaction he will get will be off the roof. With the crowd currently not accepting Reigns as the WWE's new face of the company, the crowd would most likely get behind Rollins over Reigns. Balor however, still needs some time on the main roster, plus, Rollins's return would definitely be the most overshadowing thing in the WWE then.

I really can't see Balor doing it he's far from being the best wrestler and no mic skills the only people that I can see having the chance is the other shield members.

Ambrose isn't that ready yet, he isn't as good as Rollins in the ring, is a bit overrated, and is probably more fitting for going after the IC title. Rollins is definitely one of the best in the roster, so he would definitely be the next top guy for me.

Not Balor because Balor is a boring piece of shit that has no charisma. The Demon Balor is just him with face paint on. He doesn't act different at all with or without Face Paint. Which makes it pointless.

Seth Rollins on the other hand maybe. Seth Rollins was only a Face for a short time. The Shield was a Heel Stable for most of the time, turned Face for only about 4 Months and Rollins turned back Heel. People who watch Rollins in the Indys said he was a better Face than Heel. So I hope Rollins can be a great Face.

Seth as a face will be glorious. Short, reckless and daring promos and him jumping from every single object in the arena.

Rollins has a chance, he could work very well as a top face i think.

Balor though, definitely not, he doesn't have the charisma to be a top face, he's much more geared towards being a heel.

I doubt either will at the end of the day though, because they've shown that they're willing to stick by Reigns through pretty much anything.

Not sure about Balor, but Rollins could. The man has gotten over with the fans as a heel for the majority of his time on the main roster. He can wrestle 5 star classics and cut good promos. I can see Rollins getting really over like a Daniel Bryan, CM Punk or Jeff Hardy and possibly become the co #1 guy.

I'm not going to say either way on Balor as we haven't seen what will happens when he hits the main roster. My gut tells me he has no chance in hell and won't even do as well as Owens or Zayn. While Rollins isn't exactly what I see as face of the company material I do like him better for the spot than Reigns. My opinion here is greatly dependent on the reaction he gets upon returning. It's possible that he returns amd the crowd decides to get behind him and force the issue. It's possible that the reaction will be lukewarm. As has already been said, none of these guys are truly face of the company material. Leave it up to me and Brock has the title until someone worthy comes along to take it. Cena continues to be the publicity guy.

Gonna say no to Finn Bálor because of age and I don't see him making it to the top without Gallows & Anderson. Rollins is probably the only guy who can surpass Reigns. If you look at their generation (Ambrose, Wyatt, Cesaro, etc.), the only person on the same level as Reigns (or even close) is Rollins, the difference being Seth got there as a heel and Reigns as a face. The payoff of a long-running storyline in him ending The Authority could definitely "make" him, but I am concerned about his health upon return. Roman has the overall audience to deal with and the longer that drags on, the more likely I see Rollins taking over.

Oh Rollins isn't 'close' or at the same level as Reigns, his ability in-ring, on the mic and character is WAY over and better than Reigns.

Just admire his skills xD

Rollins for sure. In fact I fully predict that come Rollins' return he will be back in the main event and Reigns will take a back seat or turn fully heel and (hopefully) do better than he is at the moment.

Balor - no. He is a charisma vacuum. He seems like a nice, likeable guy who is supremely talented but nothing makes me care.

Rollins spend a majority of his run cutting long repetitive promos without getting booed or BORING chants.

The crowd does love Rollins.

Has it?

I have never seen Balor being mentioned in the same bracket as Reigns and Rollins before, before people started realizing how strongly he has been pushed as the longest reigning NXT champion, losing the championship on a house show and the signing of Gallows / Anderson.

Seth Rollins should be the face of the company, he looks like a million bucks, world class worker, charisma and is a great talker.

has everything Roman does not.

As for Finn Balor...... needs a lot of work on his character

Yes, but it's up to you guys. If you put the effort in WWE will push either one of them to the top. People bitch and wonder why Reigns came out on top at WM 32, yet these same fans don't realize they didn't make any effort to hijack for any of the guys that they like. Everyone knew Reigns was going over at WM 32 for many months so why didn't fans take the initiative to get behind a particular star?

Right now Rollins seems to be the #1 choice for hardcore fans. People are clamoring for him to come back and blow past Reigns. When he comes back he will have a lot of buzz around him, but that could easily disappear — not because of how WWE books him but simply from the fans not forcing WWE to book him better.

A lot of the Roman Reigns hate are made from trolls. He's not my guy, but it's like Cena, it's mostly people who troll. Also there is no one out there for the smart marks to get behind. They have Ambrose, but they haven't gotten behind him the way they did with Daniel Bryan. Even WWE getting behind the smart marks favorites haven't done the company that good either. Especially if they all look the same, walk the same, talk the same, and in some cases, wrestle the same, and they all have the same story and background.

Cena didn't take Orton's spot or anything. Cena was the guy making them money, and the guy who was super over while Randy was midcard over as a heel coming up. Cena was always going to get his main event push and end up being the guy, you could see that pretty early into his Dr of Thuganomics run. They wanted Randy to be the Rock to Cena's Austin and it simply never worked out that way since Randy wasn't that good. And that's pretty much where Roman Reigns stands at the moment, he was the handpicked guy, but he's a terrible performer who did the opposite of rise to the occasion of his push.

Seth Rollins on the other hand, he got better as time went on. He took advantage of every opportunity. He could easily take Reigns spot. Honestly, lots of guys on this roster can take Roman's spot. What does Roman do better than anyone? He's not a top 10 anything in this company and the only reason he somewhat cracks through on the merchandise charts is because of his push. Give that exposure to actual talented people and watch as the show gets better, and they sell more than Roman did. He's the most replaceable top guy in the history of wrestling right now, pretty much even more replaceable than even JBL was.

If this wasn't a show controlled by an old man I'd say yes but considering the lengths that WWE has gone to promote Reigns I'd say not! WWE is America and the IWC and Audience is like the Mid East, you got a few crazies in the IWC and Audience who are smarks or insane marks but WWE doesn't care, they just bomb us all with garbage programming and try and force us to love what they think we should love! Turning off mics in hostile smark territory, plants within the audience to spy on them, force feeding us propaganda, pitting one portion of the audience against the other, outright lying and changing of history, backing people the audience doesn't much care for and telling everyone it's for the best! All for the "Greater good".

I think the WWE has former CIA working in it. =p

Balor isn't even as good as Reigns lol.

I believe Rollins will always have a top spot. He has the wrestling skills (tho slightly overrated), but like Reigns he has a bad character and needs mic improvement. And to add to that, his voice is absolutely grating. But he does have major drive which is something everyone else on the roster is missing. Unfortunately with his injury, his career will be cut short. ACL tears become easier after the first one, and since he's a high flyer, he'll probably end up injuring it again.
