I haven't seen every Hell In A Cell, so please feel free to recommend any new ones too many. This will be a ranking of EVERY Hell In A Cell I've seen.

14.Undertaker & Stone Cold def. Mankind & Kane-Raw 1998

This wasn't really a match. More of an angle if anything, but is was cool to see the cell on Raw. *

13.Randy Orton def. John Cena(c)-Hell In A Cell 2009

SLOW. It was just a bunch of brawling with no really good use of the cell. Even when John tried to throw steps at Randy he moved out of the way which eliminated what would have been an awesome spot. *

12.D-Generation X def. Legacy-Hell In A Cell 2009

Again from this PPV. For one thing there are too many Hell In A Cell's here in the first place, but besides that point this one sucked. It was pretty much HHH staring into the cell looking at HBK get his ass kicked by Legacy. The finish were HBK Super Kicked Rhodes while HHH simultaneously hit Rhodes with a Sled Hammer in the face was awesome though. *

11. The Undertaker def. Big Boss Man-WrestleMania XV

You should have saw this one coming. It's not as bad as most people play it out to be, but it still sucks. Taker bash the steps on Bossman which was brutal. The handcuffing of Taker to the cell was cool as well. Overall though it was short and slow. *

10.Mankind & Kane went to a No Contest-Raw 1998

This one obviously wasn't great because it was on Raw, but it actually really impressed me. There were some nasty chair shots on Mankind(ALWAYS takes chair shots great). Other some other brutal moments though it was short, but hey it's a Raw match. ***

9.Batista(c) def. The Undertaker-Survivor Series 2007

This one really disappointed me honestly. It wasn't awful by any means, but it could have been a ton better. Some of the better parts of the match were the Spinebuster on the stairs, and everything they did with the chair. However the sluggish nature of this match weighs it down. ***

8.The Undertaker def. CM Punk(c)-Hell In A Cell 2009

Another really disappointing one here. I was expecting an incredible match, but it didn't get enough time. During the time they had though both guys did some pretty awesome stuff. Punk's Suicide Dive when he cut his hand on the Cell was freaking nasty. Also the Old School-GTS was bad ass. ***

7.Brock Lesnar(c) def. The Undertaker-No Mercy 2002

This one was BRUTAL. The beating and bashing of Taker's arm was just disgusting but in a good way. Also The way Taker would still have a little bit left in him, but then get shut right back down was emotional. ****

6.Brock Lesnar def. The Undertaker-Hell In A Cell 2015

Brock & Taker have a Hell of a match(no pun intended) yet again. This one to me had a ton more of emotion considering how many years these two have hated each other. I loved how they both beat the hell out of each other with that chair. And boy the finish! Peeling back the freaking ring! That was insane. *****

5.Roman Reigns def. Bray Wyatt-Hell In A Cell 2015

You guys can think this is weird all you want lol, but this match was probably Roman's best(This is coming from a Roman hater). Both of these guys went through tables, shattered kendo sticks, and beat the hell out of each other with everything imaginable. *****

4.The Undertaker def. Triple H-WrestleMania XXVIII

That's how you do a Mania Hell In A Cell. This one was so intense. I actually saw this Live and boy was I amazed. It delivered in every way possible. The brutality all the way to Taker almost losing for once was just incredible. If you haven't seen this one check it out mainly for it's emotion. *****

3.Kurt Angle(c) def. Rikishi, Stone Cold, The Rock, Triple H, & The Undertaker-Armageddon 2000

This was quite a mess, but the spot made up for it. Everywhere you looked there was brutal shit going on. Taker even through Rikishi's ass off the cell onto a truck! That was an amazing HIAC moment. These guys even busted car windows, scraped faces, and bled! Awesome match. *****

2.The Undertaker def. Shawn Michaels-In Your House: Badd Blood 1997

The first Hell In A Cell I remember seeing. These guys MADE the Hell In A Cell match what it is today. They bled everywhere, got weapons, and even fell off the Cell through the announce table. Everything needed to make an awesome Hell In A Cell is here, and who better than to work the first one than HBK and Taker. *****

1.The Undertaker def. Mankind-King of The Ring 1998

You know you saw this coming. Thumbtacks!!!! Off the Cell through a Table!!!! THROUGH THE CELL!!!! And Foley still got up. This match is no doubt in my mind the best Hell In A Cell match ever, and I truly don't think anything will ever knock it off its prestigious mantle. *****

The Hell in a Cell pay-per-view is a complete abomination.

Absolutely ridiculous how they managed to take a gimmick match that was perfect to create an end to blood feuds, designated for certain characters and types of characters, and turn it into something so casual as "oh, it's that time of the year where we hold like two of the supposedly most hardcore matches of all time for these random-ass feuds".

That being said, I think Taker/Michaels is by far the greatest Hell in a Cell match ever, and IMO the best WWE match of all time.

Missing the second best HiaC match in Batista vs. HHH which is completely overlooked by everybody.

I'd put the Shawn one over the Mankind one personally because it was a better MATCH (not just a car wreck) and told an equally compelling story, and the ending with Kane debuting was perfect. Mankind HiaC was extremely memorable but very stupid because Mick could've easily killed or crippled himself

Shawn/HHH at Bad Blood 2004 was one of the better ones -- Edge/Undertaker at Summerslam was pretty good, too. If you didn't see them yet then definitely check them out

My top 5:

1. Taker vs. Mankind
2. Brock vs Taker I
3. Brock vs. Taker II
4. Batista vs. HHH
5. Edge vs. Taker

The best of the rest: HBK vs. Taker was excellent, as the first HIAC it set a high standard, but subsequent matches definitely topped it. Cactus Jack vs HHH was great, just ruined for me because I didn't watch it at the time, and the drama of that was that it was meant to be Foley's retirement match. Taking away that element knowing that he returned a month later for Wrestlemania 2000 takes a lot of the emotion away for me. HBK vs. HHH was very good, great action throughout, but it was just too damn long! Shave 10 minutes, or even 20 and it'd probably make my top 5. 45 minutes is just too much. Reigns vs. Wyatt was exceptional, glad it got some love in the OP.

The worst of the rest: Taker vs. Bossman was Taker's only miss inside the Cell. HHH vs. Nash was dog-shit. And basically every Cell match at the HIAC PPV. Most of the time they're basically a standard match that just happens to be in a Cell, or they might use a chair or stairs once or twice.

Taker vs. Mankind was pretty epic HIAC match. One that we'll never see the like of again.

I personally first saw HHH vs. HBK HIAC match first. Then i got intrigued and looked upon it's history and discovered the mankind vs. Taker match.

I'd say the best HIAC matches have been done in early 2000 or before that. Today's age of wrestling and themed PPV's have effectively killed what we could all see as 'culmination of a feud' type of thing. I dont like yearly PPV theme that has HIAC just for a random match for the title. For example CM Punk vs. Ryback is a good example of average HIAC match with little buildup.

The 6 man was awful, it wasn't a match it was only there to give Rikishi a spot.

And Boss Man v Taker isn't as bad as most people play it out to be? Nope. This match is a lot worse than people make it out to be. It is literally one of the worst, sluggish, nothingness matches in the history of not only Mania, but WWE. If anything this deserves more hatred.

Roman Reigns doesn't rank in any Top 10, except for WOAT.
