Re: Owens or Bray Wyatt as WWE World Heavyweight Champion?

I want Bray Wyatt to win the title in 2016 but I don't want him to lose at Wrestlemania. Maybe winning it at Payback or whatever the fuck the PPV is called after WM and dropping it at SummerSlam would make me happy, but eh, I can dream right?

Owens should have it too, I just don't know when, not this year. I think he elevates the fuck out of the midcard tbh and his roles as IC Champ was excellent, wish they kept him as the champ.

Bray Wyatt, but his reign would require A LOT of effort from creative with creepy vignettes and backstage segments. In other words, it would be horrible boring with Family beating people up 3 times a week for six months. I am already bored posting this.

I would like to see both of them with a WWE-title one time.

But. The big but...

WWE creative have already fucked everything up basically. The Wyatt family looks like a light version of the ministry of Darkness, and while I was fucking afraid of them, I just see a couple of hillbillys in Wyatt family, thanks to the WWE creative.

Could Owens be a threat? Well, not now. He's jobbing to Ziggler on a random RAW.

Both Wyatt and Owens had potential to be great WWE champions. But WWE are destroying the character of both of them. They could be more badass and darker, but instead they do to much job.

So it's hard to portray them as a ruthless monster WWE champion suddenly.

^This. Had they given Owens a more dominant title run(IMO Cena should have dropped the U.S. Title to Owens since he was leaving to film a show anyways). This would make him look credible instead of how lame he looks now. Then in a perfect world drop the title to Zayn where he could then be free to chase the big belt as a face(turning face after reconciling with old friend Zayn in their blowoff match) But as of now a Owens almost looks like a complete joke

Can never happen with The Authority still in business. Disband it and the next moment you would see heels like Owens and Wyatt being the prominent heels on the show. The Authority has made sure that no non Authority heel ever reaches the main event and that every Authority heel is basically a henchman except the supposed golden boy.

They need to change something up with Wyatt before they put the title on him. Whether it's a character tweak or a strong run of booking....something.

With Owens, I view him as the '16 MitB favorite at the moment. He'd be perfect with the briefcase. So, yeah, I can see him winning the belt at some point in 2016.

Since the WWE higher ups are so high on Braun a great way to get him some exposure while also putting the title on Bray would be start this angle where the Wyatts are gunning for all the gold. This would work by making Bray much stronger this year(perhaps start with winning the Brock Lesnar feud and "slaying the beast" even if the wins arent clean). Build him up then have him take the title from face Seth Rollins(who should win it after beating a heel Roman at SummerSlam '16)

Winning the title revitalizes Bray and he wants to take over the WWE universe by having the family hold all the gold(power). Have Braun pick up the IC title and when Rowan and Harper are unsuccessful in capturing tag team gold have a power obsessed Bray "punish" Rowan for taking the pin fall in their match injuring him in the process. Harper sees this and thinks Bray's gone too far. Not tolerating his insubordination Bray and Braun turn on Harper. Setting up a Braun vs. Harper feud and leaving Bray with only Braun as his right hand man so that the Wyatts don't seem to over powered.

Have Bray continue with this mad with power angle and defeat some top faces until dropping it to a face Owens?

The odds of seeing this on WWE tv is pretty much zero though

Because that's not gonna happen, they don't elevate 2 new people to the ME in the same year.

It's amazing how someone like Owens could go from beating Cena in his debut match, and then job out to Ziggler randomly, not to mention there IS no reason for them to even be feuding, much less Owens losing to him, as talented as Owens is it's gonna be hard to come back from this one.

Bray Wyatt on the other hand should have no business with titles, if he is ever to win a belt he should immediately laugh and then throw it to the ground, stating that he has no need for material things, and then continue with spreading his message. Wyatt is the kind of heel that doesn't need a title to be taken seriously, he's like Undertaker in that all he needs is to be booked dominantly, or rather he only wrestles when a specific talent interests him, but for the most part he has cronies spread his message for him, without having to do much other than snap his fingers.

Of course now that the entire Wyatt family has been made to look like complete and utter buffoons time and again, it's generally hard to take anyone of them seriously, ffs they can't even beat two men 10 years older than them, and yet WWE expects us to take Wyatt
seriously when he's going up against Brock Fuckin' Lesnar?!? ROFL!!!

The thing is, Owens and Bray could have been credible enough. You can't tell me that if you reverse the roles and have one of those two were in the spot that HHH was in at the Rumble, that there wouldn't have been the same kind of energy. We all like to do the fantasy booking, and while fun, it's futile. A string of strong booking for either man, coupled with a big win over Lesnar, Taker, Reigns, etc., and they would be instantly credible as champ. Problem is the E prefers to let talented heels just float around and job to the top faces, while never doing anything of importance. These two, along with the League Of Nations, are all critically ill-booked. It's really sad to see.

Some of you are too hung up in the moment, though. You're really going to complain about Owens being a loser now because he's lost a few bouts to Ziggler? I'm sure Owens is going to get his win back at Fastlane, and they'll move on, and no one will even remember those losses.

Bray Wyatt. He's bigger than Owens, better looking than Owens, and unlike Owens he's good on the mic and he can talk. Bray Wyatt also has a character (something Owens doesn't have) and is exciting in the ring (again, Owens lacks this)

Wyatt is more credible than Owens overall as a pro wrestler. He also has the Wyatt Family, which can make him a big threat to anyone.

How about option C. None of them.

Owens maybe sometime down the line, but only when he starts feuding with someone else than Ziggler, and as for Wyatt -he needs to drop the family and be more of a Mankind type of character, cut back on the nonsense promos, and then perhaps.

Both should absolutely hold the strap more than once in their respective careers. Wyatt should win the belt and have one of his men drag it to the ring in a burlap sack or something, so as to "deprive the sheep of their false idol". I think that would be wonderful.

It's odd to me that so many people make a comment about these guys' figures. Not every professional wrestler needs to look like a bodybuilder. The same people calling Owens out for his build, are probably the same people who are pissed that Roman is getting a huge push because he has the "look". Owens is like 6'0-6'1, to me, it's more of an eyesore to see a Finn Balor or Daniel Bryan competing against heavyweights. The short, slim guys look more out of place against heavyweights, than do Owens or Wyatt.
