It's about time. Even though they were cheered for beating up the Usos. :ha
hopefully they let Bubba go back to being his Bully Ray type character. You could hear him ask Jimmy or Jey "DO YOU KNOW WHO WE ARE" over and over. :mark:
Really glad this happened. Dudleys were stale as month old bread, but I've always been a fan. Joey Styles straight up calls out the shittiness of their "nostalgia run" :lmao he really does give zero fucks.
This will warm up the Dudleys nicely for Mania. Looking forward to hearing Bubba on the mic, I've got a feeling they'll have a great promo lined up for either Smackdown or Raw. Best case scenario for me would be a Highlight Reel on Raw, and they put Y2J through a table to get that sweet, sweet heat.
Yet the fans were cheering every second of their attack on the Usos. The bland baby face with the formulaic moveset just doesn't do it for the modern fans, but WWE will white knuckle this paradigm into the grave.
Not a single fuck was given. This Dudleys "nostalgia run" has been a nonfactor and them turning heel is not going to change much. The new wave of fans don't know or care about the Dudleys past.
If WWE doesn't offer them TV minutes to work the feuds with backstage segments then the turn is gonna be pointless, the mic work of Bubba Ray mades them one of the more hated acts in ECW, I know he is not gonna cut that kind of promos on WWE but he is very capable to work a crowd.
Excellent. Their face run was going nowhere and the tag division has been deader than dead for a while now. Nice to have something interesting happen in it for once.
Hopefully we see more of the proper Dudleyz now, though i'm not holding out a huge amount of hope, it has to be said.
I'm trying to care but the Dudley's ring work is too pathetic to keep up with the current generation. They got a shitty ppv match out of the Wyatt's which was a first. How will they keep up with fast teams like the Usos or Lucha Dragons? The only good that can come from this is if they go on a run that gets stopped by the debuting Enzo and Cass.
Call Enzo & Cass up to the main roster and instantly have the Dudleys attack the fucking hell out of them. Have them put an absolute beating on them both, have D-Von hold a beaten Cass' body up whilst Bubba Ray puts Enzo through the table from a suplex off the top rope with that deranged look in his face whilst Cass can't do nothing but watch.
Leads up to a Rumble match where Enzo & Cass go over, imagine the reaction they would get in a place like Wrestlemania.
About time. I think that they are going to win the titles at some point this year, so make at WrestleMania in a TLC match involving New Day, Usos and the Lucha Dragons.
I'm glad they turned, we need more credible heel teams. Can't just have New Day, Social outcasts alone... and dont even get me started of Ascension who have been nothing but jobbers so far.
It was badly needed. The nostalgia run was nice, but it ran its course very quick and repeatedly putting over the New Day didn't exactly raise their stock.
Now if only WWE would make up your minds on whether Titus is a singles wrestler or the Prime Time Players are still a team (they've still been teaming at house shows), and treat The Ascension a whole lot better, maybe the main roster tag division could get the serious boost that's been needed.
Have been waiting for them to be taken seriously, hope they win the titles soon
