HBK would be an excellent choice given how he helped him train to become as good as he is now. And in WWE's eyes it would be good ratings for the HOF show to have a guy like Shawn doing a big speech.

I hear you guys all the time talking about Daniel Bryan, trained by Shawn Michaels. One curious thing to me is, how come you guys never mention William Regal? William Regal did the real work with this young man. Shawn Michaels took $3,000 from him, that's all he ever did.
Why would he go into the Hall of Fame? He's talented and his chant was over, but what has he done HoF worthy? 1 Wrestlemania Moment? What big Storylines was he in, just him VS Authority, good run with Kane prior to that... If we're just putting people in the HoF because they were over then there's probably another 100 guys and gals that should already be in...
Being by far the most over superstar of this era is enough. How many past superstars were able to get fans to hijack shows for them. And let's remember this is a HOF class that has Koko BeWare in it.
I dont see them inducting him this year.. they will induct him eventually but doubt it happens this year. However the man has done more than enough for a HoF spot.
It likely won't be this year because of how close they are to the HOF, but when he gets inducted it should probably be Regal. That's the guy that Bryan respects the most in this industry -- and the guy that did so much for his career
In Punk's own words: "Shawn Michaels took a paycheck from Bryan, while Regal did the real work"
It´s a bit early to begin talk of HOF. If he decides to start wrestling elsewhere, it´s a question if he even will get in the HOF
Headlining? maybe.. On top of my head I can´t think of any bigger names who´s not in there yet. except the obvious Undertaker, Kane, Cena, Big Show etc.

If Edge can headline Bryan can. Though if I was Vince (or his successor) i'd book all the modern guys I allegedly hate like Punk, Bryan, Ziggler, Christian, Heyman and Ambrose for the same class.
Why in the fuck should Sting headline? In fact, why should he even be in the WWE HoF?
WWE HoF should honor WWE stars, not all wrestling stars. Sting had only two matches in the WWE and the fact that WWE now owns WCW doesn't mean he should be in WWE's HoF.
If they want to give him HoF they should make a WCW HoF and put all WCW's stars in there.
I've always understood that HBK's relationship with Bryan was primarily a kayfabe thing-- that he wasn't that involved at his wrestling school. Regal is Bryan's real mentor.
Your saying IF he becomes a HOF, your wondering if he is the headline...I'm guessing they save him, however I think WWE disowns him after he goes to LU or ROH and makes them the new #1 show on TV.
