Will The Rock ever have another match?

Before I start, this isn't a thread about whether he should have another match and what you think of his in-ring skills, I'm asking whether you think he will or not.

With HHH originally wanting he and the rock to main event Wrestlemania 32 in a match against each other, going so far as to set it up before Wrestlemania 31 last year, those plans fell through with the insurance company on Baywatch not granting him the ability to do so.

Rock has been game to do another match since his main event with John Cena at WM29, there were even plans to main event Wrestlemania 30 with a match between he and Brock lesnar but that got cut as he got injured at WM29 and had to fly home the next day to see his doctor instead of setting up the match with lesnar on RAW.

So I was wondering, will we ever see Rock wrestle again?

It's obvious Rock still has the passion to do one, but as he's getting older and it seems like the insurance companies won't give him clearance, I don't know whether rock would actively avoid work for 2-3 months so he could have one match.

Additionally WWE doesn't have that many big matches left for rock to have with the guys on the roster. And you would think after two times now having to change plans for future matches with The Rock, that they wouldn't include him in any long term plans incase thugs fell through again or he got injured.

While his match with Cena at WM29 wasn't the best match to end a career with, storyline wise it kinda was with Rock passing the torch to Cena (regardless of Cena's ring skills he WAS the next big guy after Rock so it makes sense)

So with all those factors will we see the great one in the ring again or is it strictly in a promo capacity from now on like a few weeks ago on RAW and whatever they have planned for WM32?

Never say never, probably it's gonna be some kind of celebrity tag team clusterfuck of a match tho.

Not as long as he's getting that Hollywood money. His movie and TV career would have to suddenly tank, which I don't really see happening any time soon given what a ridiculously huge star he is now, before he'd consider wrestling again. And by then, he'd probably be old enough to where it would just not be a good idea

Personally, I think he should just distance himself from WWE. The product is shit right now and the company is an embarrassment. He got a lot of shit for his promo on Lana and got himself embarrassed a bit when he endorsed Reigns at the Rumble. Honestly, nothing good is coming from these WWE appearances. They are only hurting his image

Rock and Batista are so above WWE. I wouldn't come back if I were either of them.

Chances are, yes. Most legends always have a last run of some sorts, a guy with the starpower that Dwayne has will probably return to the ring at some point.

Very doubtful.. I think he learned in his match with John Cena that having another match could be the end of his career at any moment.. He has too much to risk. He got hurt in his match with John Cena, one bad bump in the ring could be the end of his Hollywood career, which means a lot more than any of these WWE Superstars career, The Rock doesn't do that for a living anymore, he's one of the biggest actors on the planet. He only comes back once in a while for the fans and to lend a hand to WWE because they still have a close relationship.. The Rock just needs to show up once in a while, maybe do a Rock Bottom here or there. He doesn't need to be taking bumps anymore.. And besides, it looks like he competed again to pass the torch to John Cena, that was the whole point of their 2 year long feud.
