WWE.com has an article here about SmackDown moving to the USA Network on January 7, 2016. Vince McMahon commented on the move, stating, "WWE is proud to have SmackDown join Raw as part of our expanded partnership with USA Network. The combination of the No. 1 cable network and two ratings juggernauts provides a destination for our viewers and an extraordinary platform for our partners."

The only juggernauts Vince has left are dangling between his legs.

Does he mean that USA is a #1 Cable Network? OR Smackdown or Raw? I hope its the latter. If he really believe Smackdown or Raw are ratings juggurnaut. He has really gone off the deep end. Maybe if it goes to 1:16. With the 1:16 our ratings soar to new heights lol.

I don't think people on here realize the ratings are only low in comparison to marks WWE has set in the past. RAW is still the most viewed show on USA by a wide margin.
Perhaps, but within a year they've seen their biggest drop in viewership from one year to the next since the freaking end of the attitude era and it doesn't seem the slide is about to end anytime soon.

Promoter promotes product.

Yeahhhh, but, on WWE.com it's more likely Vince would say "our ratings are shit.", right?

I mean, he's putting his own product over on his own website and pandering to the network they'll be on. I'm surprised he didn't add a few superlatives on and I wouldn't have blamed him.

Yes he is right its relative. Raws 2:16 is the biggest demo on the USA Network. So technicaly Vince ain't lying. But I woulden't call Raw or Smackdown Ratings Juggurnaut from any stretch of the imagination.

Re: Vince McMahaon: RAW And Smackdown are ratings juggernauts

I've followed every raw for the past year and havent tuned in once. In fact I havent had a need to pay for cable tv for the past 5 years because of the internet. I'm sure there are lots of people doing the same. This isnt the 90s anymore where we need to actually watch the tv show in order to stay updated.

WWE's youtube channel summarizes RAW and smackdown after it airs. You can see everything you need to see in 25 minutes.

I'm not saying that WWE isnt at a low point. I am just making the point that the ratings arent an accurate representation of who is actually following the show like it was back in the old days. Cable TV is becoming obsolete.
