What makes people think Reigns will be any better as a heel?

All the time I see people on here begging for a Roman Reigns heel turn. I must be missing something. Is he expected to magically have mic skills and charisma or something? Someone enlighten me.

This is the big reason I'd be excited for it, but, secondly, being a heel fits Reigns much more naturally. He should be the Orton of Evolution for the Authority. He exemplifies that quite well. Just look at his NXT promos and you can tell he's much more comfortable in that role.

You heard the saying it's easier to piss people off then it is to make them love you? Roman has already been a successful heel in the shield and his got a lot of ammunition he can use against the fans. And his got charisma and mic skills suited for being that arrogant pretty boy heel. His got batista mic skills and charisma

Because he was a good heel in FCW.

cuz it's easier and the boo's can be spun into him succeeding as a heel just like batista, eva marie, and baron corbin. people are not boo'ing cuz they are good heels, but because they they are shit and shouldn't be employed by wwe.

it'll get spun as a success though by their few dumb fans and wwe and we the majority non-retarded fans get to sit through fucking abortion promos and matches. the boo's get louder and the spin gets repeated and amplified by idiots and vince.

that is one of the major themes of this very forum.

You're right he doesn't have charisma, which is generally the main characteristic of a good face. Heels aren't supposed to be approved of, therefore having charisma and getting fans behind them isn't really ideal, you want your heel to draw heat if anything. With that said knowing Reigns has no charisma, he is not fit as a face, they don't need to keep attempting to force it to already know this. Imo his only chance at being a success is as a heel, despite having "the look" Vince wants in his next face.

So he's not the top babyface who beats everyone forever and forever and never looks weak.

Guy looks, sounds and acts like a dick, anyway. Never forget the interview where he said he was happy as long as he was getting rich. What a face.

The people that aren't Roman fans that want him to turn heel just want him out of the way. They don't care if Roman improves or not, they've made up their minds already. They really want him to turn heel so that he can be moved out of the "top guy" spot for (hopefully) one of their favorites. They just use the guise of "he'll be better as a heel" so it doesn't look as bad for whatever reason. However some posters are more honest and upfront than others.

The people that are Roman fans that want him to turn heel believe he'll be much better at that role, get more universally over, and eventually earn a face turn and become the accepted face of the company.

All the best guys become successful babyfaces after a spell as a main event heel. Being a heel let's you bring out more of a personality. He's definitely not babyface material at the moment, so is there any other alternative?

Vince McMahon wants him to be the top babyface right? So turn the guy heel. History has dictated (Austin, Rock, Foley, Undertaker, Batista, Cena, the list goes on) that if you're a charismatic, talented worker - with the correct booking (Triple H I'm looking at you) - who can draw heat, eventually the fans will get on your side. The crowd will gel with him eventually and that's when you turn him face and attach the rocket to his back to the top. Just don't mess with his character (unfortunately this is where it all seems to go wrong these days).

The problem with turning Roman heel is you're pandering to a small part of the crowd much like Cena he sells a ton of merchandise and youd be giving all that up just to get a portion of the crowd whos booing to appear to be following the plan. Personaly Id love a Reigns heel turn but I can see why WWE is reluctant to do it.
