This is the best choice. As long as it's not of his ex rivals (Cena, Rock, Trips). So anyone like Reigns, Ambrose, Rollins, Bray, or more seasoned guys like Cesaro or Harper.
Using the criteria of what I want to see, putting aside what's best for business and all that crap, hell yeah. I'll never get tired of Suplex City and that incredible agility of a 300 pounder.
Top Choice: Kevin Owens
Great Choice: Wyatt, Reigns, Cesaro, Rollins
Good Choice: Daniel Bryan, Kalisto (if they book the storyline, ofc Brock isn't a full timer so who knows)
Seth Rollins already did so.. Cesarooooooooh. Time for a new major of suplex city! Lesnar v Cesaro would be a dream match, no matter what the outcome is.
I mean come on, if there's anyone who deserves to be elevated out of floundering midcard status and deserves a big rub from defeating a star like Lesnar, it'd be Cesaro.
You know how no one could see Undertaker losing his streak because no one was seen as a legit threat to him and/or couldn't find a talent who wouldn't waste the rub?
The same applies for Lesnar. Vince was smart. He knew Taker couldn't go forever and gave the rub to an established star who was a legit badass. You can buy Brock beating Taker. And fans actually quickly embraced it.
The right thing to do here is the same. Find someone with the credibility and believability.
I think it should be Cesaro. He is freakishly strong. He is an amazing technician. I can buy this guy beating Lesnar. I'm just afraid of how Cesaro might be booked after the win.
Right now, I think Brock is too strong for anybody on the current roster to realistically beat him in a one on one match.
If it were me, I'd actually book a feud with somebody, and have that person continually attack Lesnar behind the scenes, trying to injure him and weaken Brock before said match. Instead of calling the match off, Brock being Brock goes in anyway and still is a monster and a beast in the match, but in the end is injured enough to be defeated by somebody. It would basically be a win due to the cunning ability of a wrestler along with the unwillingness of Brock to swallow his pride.
But, Brock has to actually be booked as a mortal, NOT as a demigod like they're doing.
