Haha! I saw the thread title and immediately thought of this. Best part? They left it in the original vhs release back in the day. Today they would've edited it out lol.
The Miz to Michael Cole after Sheamus locks in his submission: "Texas Cloverleaf son!!"
Summerslam 1989 - Rick Rude vs. Warrior:
Jesse Ventura: "Hit him with the belt?! That should be a disqualification! That's a disqualification!! Where the hell is the referee?!?!
Tony Schiovone: "But that's outside the ring Jess."
Jesse:"So What?!
Tony: "As well it could just be a count out."
Jesse: "What are you gonna tell me Schivone?! You can Shoot somebody outside the ring, as long as it's Outside the ring?!!
Tony: "Well, not at all."
Jesse: "You know, you're even dumber than Monsoon! I thought Gorilla was the stupidest man alive!"
King during the 1995 Royal Rumble. King kept changing his prediction on who'd win depending on who got eliminated and right at the end after HBK won he says "yeah, he was my pick all along!" and Vince just goes "NO HE WASN'T!" :lol It always made me laugh.
King's continual change of Rumble winner is a fond memory for me.
Royal Rumble has always been my favorite PPV (see how Kane and Stone Cold were my 2 favorites growing up, I think it explains why).
Royal Rumble 2000:
One of my favorite was "whatever the commentary said", when "Kai en Tai" keep running into the Royal Rumble. Then through the rest they kept replaying how freaking hard he hit his head on the ground. I just remember that entire Royal Rumble being just total awesomeness.
The absolutely brilliant bit of commentary at the end of Austin vs. Angle for the belt on Raw, when Triple H attacked Stone Cold and prevented him from winning the belt.
"You can only wish, and you can only know that Kurt's father is looking down tonight, and he's saying, my god! My boy did it again." - Jim Ross, following Kurt Angle's WWF Championship win against Stone Cold.
This is why JR is, was and always will be perfect. I miss him. A lot. It almost doesn't feel like the WWE without him. I also loves the way he got excited over Stone Cold and would just shout his name.
I think it was an In Your House from 1995 when the camera panned to a really trashy looking lady and Jerry Lawler blurts out, "ahhh, what's her hobby? Stepping on rakes?"
It's during a match on the Best of In Your House set the WWE released a few years ago. I think it may have been Jeff Jarrett verses Shawn Michaels.
Art Donovan: "How much does this fella weigh? Tatanka. How much does he weigh? Tatanka"
Randy Savage: "About 260-280 pounds Art Donovan"
Art Donovan : "Oh. Really?"
Followed by
Art Donovan" "Double J is going after what, 1-2-3? ...They're not as big as some of these other fellas, are they?"
