We noted earlier this week that the real-life Twitter drama between Paige and Lana was a point of discussion within WWE. Lana accused Paige of bullying her in NXT but both Summer Rae and former NXT creative assistant Rob Naylor defended Paige on Twitter.

There is reportedly more backstage heat on Lana now, due to the incident.

A WWE source noted to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that officials aren't happy with Lana but they haven't been happy with her since her engagement to Rusev became public on TMZ especially, forcing them to nix the storyline with Summer Rae and Rusev.
Don't get fired Lana.

Well WWE tried to make a story line on their website out of it which was childish on their part. Instead of encouraging it they should have had the two delete the tweets and move on. They gave it more attention than the dirtsheets.

Now you know why WWE gave her the name "Lana" (anal backwards). So many insider joke names over the years...

"Test" springs to mind.

agreed , Im not a fan of dirty laundry being put on twitter, But when it is , Ill read it :wink2::karlahi But yeah if paige was the bully i think its crappy Lana is getting the backlash, altho she probably is also cause when she posted those picsm of her and Rusev being engaged while he was in that program with Summer Rae and Dolph.

Yeah, because the love triangle over Lana was a riveting storyline and didn't need to be ended ASAP, right? :leo

I don't really care about what happens to Lana, but I really hope that Rusev doesn't get fucked over even more than he has this year because of these shenanigans.

I also always love how good ol' schizo Vince isn't consistent on these relationships at all.

Not breaking Keyfabe to completely ignore Cena and Nikki's relationship on screen, but push it on TD, but a mid card act's engagement, which literately everyone who gave a shit knew about, is a huge deal keyfabe wise:woolcock.

WWE were pretty fucking stupid to nix the storyline(as bad as it was) just cause Lana announced her engagement. Vince always made a pride of saying the WWE was not real that it was "Sport Entertainment". Most people didn't even know about it. WWE wants to focus on the casuals, not on the hardcores, right?

Lana doesnt give a fuck anymore.

If they are still upset over the Rusev/Summer thing : :reneelel

That storyline sucked hard and was killing everyone involved. Whoever came up with it should be sweeping floors instead of writing scripts. They ought to mail her and Rusev bonuses for helping end that travesty.

Otoh I don't see why she bought up past years happenings with Paige. There is no point anymore and it is not like Lana had progressed enough in the ring that heat with Paige cost her a spot in the divas division or such.

Where are all the "It's a work" guys now :lmao

Yeah it's not surprising she has heat. It was a dumb thing to do (for Paige as well, but Lana started it and Paige likely has more supporters backstage). And after leaking their engagement pics to TMZ so she can be paired with Rusev again, management likely wasn't very happy with her to begin with.

I won't miss her much if she leaves. Summer Rae proved she can do what Lana does, but better. And she's easily more versatile too, and has chemistry with everyone. Rusev also proved he doesn't need Lana anymore and can do the talking on his own. As long as this doesn't affect Rusev, I'm happy.

Fortunately for you, thats Vince's mindset as well, regardless of any heat.

Not that Im against it. I like looking at her as well. Also dont think anyone should be fired over a twitter spat. Especially in a business that thrives on conflict...
