According to sources, WWE is likely to be calling in some "very big names" to appear on TV now that Seth Rollins is out for up to nine months with a knee injury. The timing of the injury is particularly bad with John Cena, [Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton and other big names on hiatus for various reasons, which could lead to WWE bringing in some major names.
It wasn't noted if these "big names" would be for RAW or scattered throughout the coming weeks until Survivor Series, or even for Survivor Series itself.
A report yesterday suggested that, Sting should he be healed up from his injuries and able to return to the ring, Sting might be used for Survivor Series in Undertaker and Kane's expected match with the Wyatts so that is always a possibility.
DAMMIT NO. For the first the company has to RELY on fresh new talent to push and put in this damn tournament now that all these guys are out. Pls don't ruin my hype for this PPV WWE. I'm legit interested in the product for the first time in a long time.
Oh.. and I think we'll see The Hardy Boyz pretty soon, but probably not until Rumble. I think Vince will want a TLC match @ WM with New Day taking chairs.
Jericho isn't really that big a name now imo. Is basically enhancement talent.
RVD? See Jericho.
HHH.. what? Stephanie rolls over in bed? He's already there, they don't need to contact him.
Sting? If he's healthy, he was allready on team brothers of destruction no doubt.
Angle and the Hardy's are still signed with TNA (among the few who still have full contracts). TNA uses the same 90 day no compete clause as wwe. So, even if they were released today, they could not appear in WWE until after the rumble.
I don't get it. It seems a big half of Wrestling fans genuinely can't make up their minds what they want, one hand they complain about the "same old faces" that dominate the main event card, but then tell them some stars from the 90's are being wheeled out and they jump like crazy.
Was a big fan of these guys back in the day but I don't want to see them go in the ring anymore. Time to step aside gentlemen and actually let the current roster sink or swim.
No one is against part timers. At least I'm not. I'm against how they are used. If a legend or a Hall of Famer wants to come back and put somebody over, then that's awesome. Having Big Show and Kane constantly in the main event, beating younger talent, then having PPVs headlined by two part timers... No. That's the problem.
I could see Lesnar getting some extra cash for more dates, or them rushing the Undertaker/Kane storyline with the Wyatt Family. I wouldn't get too excited about this...
Look how they used Austin, HBK, Flair the last time - it was what made me lose faith and end my WWE Subscription
The Rock and Batista are out of the equation due to their schedules.
CM Punk won't come back even if Vince sucked his dick with a 8 million dollars contract
Bryan wont return for obvious reasons.
Cena might return earlier he always do and if I know Vince any better he must be begging him to return early.
Stang is injured
Who are these big names? Kevin Nash? Jericho? RVD?
They won't move Joe to the main roster yet
TNA talents
Jeff Hardy still injured
Kurt Angle is broken down and won't ever be signed to a part time
This is what the WWE gets for not pushing their stars and only pushing a chosen 1.
In the ruthless agression era we had Triple H Jericho Brock Angle Rock SCSA Taker constantly shifting in the main event scene.
This era only has Cena and Roman Reigns.
They're reaping what they sow. And I like it I hope it teaches them a fucking lesson but hey Vince never learns and goddamned thing so I wouldn't be surprised if anything he must be rubbing Seth Rollins injury on HHH face right about now telling him I told you so.
