Like it or not guys, but look at all the wrestlers that came out of NXT... now look at them now. I just don't understand WWE sometimes, they book every new talent strong as hell for the first month than all of a sudden the push just gets dropped instantly with no questions asked. :HHH2
I just feel like there's no point of NXT if the talents were once somebody at a better place than gets called up and is jobbed to Reigns or cena in the future. I'm starting to think NXT was built to get the talents ready to be jobbed to the handpick dudes.
It's a way of introducing the new talent to the WWE audience and to develop their character before they get the call up to the main roster. There is a point to NXT, sadly the main roster call ups often undo all the good work that NXT does.
There is NO point, what don't you understand? In terms of building a star, nope. The guys you all love and gets super over in NXT and even in WWE will never amount to anything on the main roster. There's a reason why Daniel Bryan isn't back yet and that's only because they don't want people to forget about Reigns or Cena, especially during the end of the year.
There would be a pretty good point to NXT and wrestlers working to get to the main roster if there weren't two over-the-hill dinosaurs making sure everything they've done is ruined when they get there.
Brock Lesnar was never in NXT, Roman Reigns had to go to NXT to learn. If he had a choice, he would've said no. Seth Rollins cashed in because WWE knew there was a storm coming if Reigns won so soon.
Besides the fact that it does help prepare some for WWE, and the best have done very well there, it also provides a lone WWE program that is actually good week in and week out. It's an oasis in the barren wasteland of WWE booked programming.

that's a simple statistic thing. as their less top guys than upper midcarders and more under carders than those cause this is how a ladder is built in each sports. there will be more guys not making the top
This is nothing against you dude, but for your own sake, stop watching. You literally are downplaying everybody in the company as irrelevant with the exceptions of Reigns and Cena, and have done nothing but preach that doom and gloom is to come next year if we keep watching.
And also a platform for those who are good enough for the main roster but likely will never be used to their full potential a chance to shine and thrive.
There is a point! It's to insult our intelligence.
"See this show is really good, but our main product is gonna suck for.. reasons!
:vince2
"You just shut up and pretend it's a different company dammit!!!"

Yeah NXT is pointless... Except for all those successful people that have come through NXT and the fact that NXT is the hottest show in pro-wrestling right now... Completely pointless.
NXT serves a purpose but what they are doing is sort of off. The show really seems to focus on ring work and less character stuff which is pretty much the exact opposite of what happens in the WWE. On some level it works, as NXT really caters to more of the hard core crowd and this is what they are going to like in the first place, but there should be a happy balance between the two I feel. Like Sasha Banks is probably the best one I've seen come out of there, she's the full package, ring work, but also has charisma and a gimmick. We get guy's like KO, Neville, or Zayn that come out and pretty much only have the ring work thing, and the WWE doesn't push these dudes too hard for the obvious reason that they aren't going to be draws any time soon.
It seems people ignore this though, like if Dean Malenko was in his prime today, we'd have people demanding he get a WWE title run or some shit lol.
To put on good matches and teach upcoming talent about the inner workings of the wrestling busines, it's to help them develop and the talent that made it to the main roster from NXT wouldn't have been promoted if NXT wasn't there.
That last Takeover should have cemented that fact for most. What a show that was!
