Now we all know that Dolph Ziggler is an IWC darling who may have been a Borderline World Champion-caliber wrestler for the WWE, but doesn't hardly seem to get the superstar push that's required for Ziggler to grow out from being a Borderline World Champion to a WWE's #1 Undisputed Face of the Company World Champion, where Ziggler would've not only served the IWC community fanbase, but also the Make-A-Wish kids and doing Hollywood Movies compared to the WWE's pitiful WWE Studios films.
However, the main reason why Ziggler might have been having up and down booking over the years is because Ziggler too often speaks his own mind about the state of the WWE, indicating that he talks crap about his own company. While you have guys like John Cena and Nikki Bella that tow the company line which is actually a good thing, it's no secret that Ziggler, Cesaro and Paige all speak their own minds, which means they're trying to hurt their very own company that Cena and Nikki are both trying to protect.
Could it be because Dolph Ziggler is a locker room lawyer to the WWE's higher-ups management team? Or is it because Ziggler pitches a hissy fit over not being given the Cena role, maybe he was the clown who was not funny or bitched out Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Kevin Dunn and Triple H over Ziggles' nonsense?
A similar comparison outside of WWE and pro wrestling will have to be the NBA's very own Jimmy Jackson, a former NBA swingman (SG/SF) who may have been talented in terms of scoring, but mediocre in rebounding, passing and defense, which may have ruined him as a potential NBA All-Star, but it was his speaking his own mind that classified him as a locker room lawyer and an attitude problem, that was the main cause as to why Jim Jackson spent all his 14-year NBA career playing for a total of 12 different teams, whether it'd have been Dallas, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Golden State, Portland, Atlanta, Cleveland, Miami, Sacramento, Houston, Phoenix and L.A. Lakers. Maybe David Stern and the other higher-up NBA management teams decided that they can't market Jackson as an NBA All-Star if he's gonna continuously talk crap about Stern and the other NBA executives. Plus, someone speaking your own mind and talking crap about his own teammates is NOT SOMEONE YOU WANNA BUILD YOUR FUCKIN' PROMOTION AROUND, CAN YOU!!!
Maybe Dolph Ziggler should take whatever little monster talents in pro wrestling that he has left, somewhere else away from the WWE? Maybe TNA, New Japan, Ring of Honor or Lucha Underground, perhaps? They'll all accept Dolph Ziggler with open arms if only he doesn't talk shit about those companies. Maybe Ziggler will give them something for one year, and maybe the second year, not so much.
And the Ziggler/Jackson comparison doesn't just start with their respective locker room attitudes to their respective companies in the respective field of work they do, which was Ziggler for pro wrestling in WWE, and Jimmy Jackson for professional basketball in the NBA. Ziggler doesn't even see any wrong in stealing other wrestlers' wives or girlfriends, like he did when he had Maria Kanellis, Vickie Guerrero, Kaitlyn, AJ Lee and now Rusev's ex-valet Lana. So does Jackson, who doesn't even care who his teammates, fans or coaches are, so long as he got to bone their wives, ex-wives, girlfriends or ex-girlfriends whenever he felt like it, whether it'd be Toni Braxton, Shawnee Simms or Nicole Murphy. Both Ziggler and Jackson are also womanizers.
