Big Show lost so many matches in his SEVENTEEN YEAR WWE career. Especially the big ones. He beats Cesaro twice, fuckers on this forum complain. Let the fat bastard win for a change!
Wellllll, well it's the Big Slow
Yes it's god awfully slow tonight
Yeah, it's the Big Slow
Come on shut off the lights
y'all
Well get ready for crap
That you didn't care to know
You won't care that it's comin'
But I promise it'll blow
The Big Slow
Yeah, it's the Big Slow
Come on shove it up your ass tonight
y'all
Well get ready for shit
That you' didn't want to know
You won't care that it's comin'
But I promise it'll blow
The Big Slow
I recall seeing a match Scott Steiner vs Big Slow in fucking 1996. This is where Steiner suplexed him and it was the first time I'd seen Slow taken down that hard.
1996!!!! 19 years ago....Bill Clinton scandal with Monica Lewinsky was a big deal at the time. Nearly a fifth of a century ago. The NWO hadn't even hit yet...but were about to.
2015-we've got this boring as shit, slow as xmas lurch still out there using chokeslams and the same old shit every week. AND he's going over the younger talent!! With a punch an invalid could dodge!!! And you wonder why we don't like it? Are you high? 19 years of the same old shit!
Im angry about it because Big Show got squashed by Lesnar. The build up was for nothing, they sacrificed two main event worthy stars (Cesaro and Show) just to feed "da beast". Big Show should be treated better than that, and he should be made look as strong and credible as the other main eventers. I could totally buy Big Show or Cesaro beating Lesnar, but it wont happen with this shitty booking.
Built up was completely unneccasary. Noone bought that Big Show could defeat Brock. Noone. And people don't care anyway. They want Brock to destroy people. See Bo Dallas, New Day. Built up is for such destruction evidently unneccasary. It was a utter waste of time.
You could make the exact same points if you were on the opposite side of the fence.
Cesaro could be around for 10 more years. That means he has time to get pushed in the future. Show will be gone in a few years, so if he's going to get a push it has to happen now.
The dude is a 20 year veteran of the business and one of the most physically intimidating men in wrestling history. He deserves a thank you reign like Henry had in 2011.
Among more specific things, it is another example of how they don't grow talent.
It is not just Cesaro who is wasted either. It is, by association, guys like Rusev who do not do as well against him as someone who is clearly well past his best in Show.
Big Show has no credibility to be facing people like Brock Lesnar in 2015.
None what so ever.
We're supposed to believe after losing loads against Ryback and The Miz that he can suddenly beat Brock Lesnar, the man who ended the streak and destroyed John Cena? :Rollins
Not to mention the one billion face and heel turns (it feels like) meaning in character terms its a 10/10 on the Who-Gives-A-Fuck-O-Meter as far as The Big Show goes for me currently.
What would have made that MSG network special a lot better was for Brock to beat a fresh opponent. You could have picked from a bunch of people.
Anything other than a rematch NO ONE wanted to see.
Its pointless getting angry about Cesaro. Vince/ Dunn don't like him and that's all that matters. No matter how many good matches he has or how over he gets, they'll never EVER see him as anything but mid card for life.
Oh and
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! IRON CLAD CONTRACT!!!!"
I can see where the OP is coming from and I can also see Cesaro section in this forum is coming from.
Tbh, It would have been Awesome if Cesaro was included in the match, imagine the ratings then. Cesaro section is fed up with WWE. The guy deserves a break.
Meh. Every time I saw Show pin Cesaro, I just remembered back to Mania 30 when Cesaro slammed his fat ass outta the ring.
That's right, Paul. You didn't get to win the first Andre battle royal, the one EVERYONE will remember the most, which took place at a landmark Wrestlemania. Instead, you probably whined and got your way this past year, winning it on the FUCKING PRE-SHOW!
I don't mind Cesaro. He's not one of my favorites, I know he's a great worker and I've heard wondrous things from his time outside WWE, so I'm sure he's capable to some extent.
I also know Big Show has been wrestling for two decades at this point. I know guys of his size, with the amount of injuries and the declining condition he has, generally do not last much longer in this business. I know from having watched the product for a while that Big Show is not exactly lighting the world up as of late. I know that he has won, outside of the squashes leading up to the MSG show, ~3 or 4 matches in the last year and a half. I know that if you look at his last 3-4 years, his record is even more abysmal. I know this, because he's been booked like he's doing his last 'put guys over run' for a good half a decade now, but he still shows up in feuds almost every single Monday night.
When I know these things about Cesaro, and I know these things about Big Show, seeing Big Show dismantle Cesaro does a lot more to bury Cesaro in my eyes than it does to put over Show. Especially since their big build to this big-deal MSG match with Brock consisted of - a video package or two, and 2 squash matches, one of which was against ANOTHER man who's been working for the company for 2 decades and hasn't won a match in a year.
i was pissed cause this summer stepped up his game in each asepekt and he got momentum.
during midsummer cesaro had the best pops of the show and also got his point threw at the mic. his owens promo was decent and had some good punchinglines. cesaro grooved into his character. then he lost to owens. one of them had to but both deserved to win cause ióf their future.
then cesaro lost to show. his whole momentum was killed. wwe educated me not to invest in cearo any more regardless which pops he gets. he is just a jobber to make others look good. maybe i am wrong with all i said and i am just pissed that wwe passed on their best in ring performer that ever a powerhouse has been.
it is like why do they made a porn with rosy o'donnel and danny de vito if vin diesel and stacy keibler begged to do it.
Because it shouldn't be happening period. A total abomination if you will. I'm struggling to muster up any anger at this point though when I know its futile.
Right decision IN THEORY... if they built up talents properly. In reality the bookers need to build up people like Cesaro consistently to build new stars. Now they need to build him up all over again after months of awesome 3.5-4* matches on free TV. Is it worth building up (relatively) young talent like Cesaro to promote a Lesnar match? Probably for viewer numbers and ticket buys. But for the future of the company? Not sure of that myself, but hey what do I know.
Look at the calendar OP and you'll know why. :jericho2
