I don’t know why WWE doesn’t hire AJ Styles right now. I wouldn’t put him on the Shawn Michaels level, but the stuff that he can do in the ring, and as talented as he is, I believe the kid deserves a run in WWE. I’ve never even met him, but I think he’s bad-a**
I think [him being a TNA guy] is part of why WWE hasn’t signed him. But I think, why not go out there and cherry-pick some of those guys? Because some of them can go. I mean, here’s the thing, if you look at the WWE roster right now, there’s still a very green talent-base, and I’m not saying this to disrespect anyone in the locker room, but it’s a very green locker room, and if you can bring in a couple of vets — AJ Styles has been around the horn for a long time.

“You look at some of the guys that have had success there; Sami Zayn, I mean he’s nearly a 15-year vet, Finn Balor 15 years, Kevin Owens 15 years, Seth Rollins 10 years… The guys who are getting over, are the guys with 10-plus years of experience. They’re new to the WWE system, but they’re not new to the business, so, hey, AJ Styles, here you go, welcome aboard
brings up some points, you gotta wonder when all these top stars and veterans talk about aj wishing he was in wwe, why wwe offered him such a crap contract in 2013.

I still don't understand why WWE didn't make a real play for AJ when he left TNA

I think now he is just too happy in NJPW and doing the indies

So many great potential matches for him in WWE

Then again you never say never with WWE, who'd have thought Warrior would come? and that we would be seeing Sting in a WWE title match in 2015?

As good as AJ was in the past during his runs in ROH and TNA, he might be the best he's ever been in his whole career now. The matches I've seen him have this year with Okada, Tanahashi, and Ibushi have been some of the best matches of his career. I also remember reading people talking about him in 2003-2005 saying "Enjoy him while he's around because anybody that works like that won't have a long career". Well, here we are over a decade later and he's still fantastic.

Unfortunately with the Samoa Joe pick up, I feel like WWE got him when his best days were behind him. Not that he's bad now, but the Joe you see in NXT is not the Samoa Joe that tore it up in 2004-2006 in ROH and TNA. But AJ is still AJ and has grown and adapted in ways that has made him as exciting a talent as ever.

Why has he not gone to the WWE? I don't know. Maybe they don't want him. Maybe AJ is perfectly happy with what he's doing in NJPW right now. I don't know.

I will say this though, if AJ went to NXT, a Balor Vs. Styles match would be a worthwhile match. Or Styles Vs. Zayn! Have Styles and Zayn/Generico ever worked with each other before? I've never seen it if they have.

And on the main roster, he'd do great stuff with the likes of Owens, Neville, Cesaro, Rollins, and hopefully Bryan. Also....AJ Vs. Lesnar. I'd like to see that!

Another overrated, glorified amateur. He was the king of TNA. That's like being the Governor of North Dakota. Even if they did sign him, he would never be main eventer, the fans would bitch to NO end, and eventually he'd just quit. So lose, lose.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. He's an incredible talent, and I hate TNA. After Japan he should come to NXT and have a similar run to Samoa Joe then move to the main roster for a while. He's not going to main event, but it would be so much fun to watch him, even at this stage. AJ Styles vs Daniel Bryan, Itami, Balor, Joe, Rollins, Owens, Zayn, great potential matches.

I think AJ is happy wrestling in the indies like Chris Hero and being associated with NJPW, Austin could invite AJ to his podcast and ask him about his experiences before he was in WWE to now. Honestly, AJ wouldn't have to main event if he went to WWE still have fantastic matches with Neville, Zayn, Owens, and Cesaro.

Styles brings nothing to the table Zayne doesn't have more of and is older than him.

Pointless signing.

They missed that train. He's way more of a badass as the leader of the bullet club than he would ever he in wwe. Wouldn't be surprised if wwe realized this and have asked a few legends to politic on their behalf. He wasn't good enough for then, so you don't deserve him now! Fuck off with this shit wwe...

AJ's not in WWE, because of two reasons:

A) He's make more money in NJPW, than what WWE allegedly offered him.

B) He's being utilized in NJPW, better than he'll be utilized in WWE.

In New Japan Pro Wrestling, AJ Styles is a two-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion, and one of the top stars in the company.

If he were to sign with WWE, he'll be a mid-carder at best, because this company doesn't know how to properly book talented wrestlers.

Man some of the WWE marks that can not stand Styles for some odd reason it is really funny

anyways he has no reason to go unless maybe a 1 night only type of thing for a ratings trap on NXT like they did with Liger. He is already making WWE money in New Japan and has a pretty light schedule compared to him coming to WWE/NXT as a full time "superstar"

If the NJPW - WWE relationship continues to grow maybe we can see him on a Takeover or maybe even a Raw for 1 time only but I honestly do not see him taking a pay cut to work a harder schedule, unless they give him a very impressive deal which is unlikely

Look at how they have been treating a true legend like Sting. Unless they pay him a hell of a lot of money at least twice as much as he makes now, there is no point in working for WWE. The guy is a pure wrestler and he is better off in Japan.
