Is there some rulebook in WWE that every legend has to be on good terms with Cena? After watching the ending of Raw this past week it seems Sting will join the list of legends that has to be buddy buddy with Cena. I know trivial shit like this shouldn't bug me but its annoying as shit. It's bad enough when Cena leeches off the popular talents.

Whether they really respect Cena or not it comes across as forced and pathetic. I was really looking fwd to the Sting/Rollins match at NOC because it is something fresh and not a match I would ever think WWE would book but of course they have to drag Cena into it as well. Not to mention having Sting cut such shitty ass generic promo. Sting deserves better than this its bad enough they jobbed him out in his first match they also have to make him best buds with Cena and be the typical smiley goody 2 shoes babyface.

Is this thread serious? I honestly can't tell. Did Sting suck Cena's dick after the show or something? They fucking stood next to each other. They didn't even LOOK at each other. They stared at Rollins holding the two belts the whole time. How the hell are they friends now? Holy testicle tuesday batman, this is a reach for the record books.

It's twice as bad because Seth Rollins called Sting out just a couple minutes earlier, and he didn't show up, instead just walking out to the stage at the last second as if he refused to answer Rollins.

And apparently people love it when John Cena interjects himself during a personal rivalry. Why would Sting be glad Cena walked out when his own name was mentioned instead? It's like if someone picks up someone else's phone and promises things on the owner's behalf, or if someone breaks into a house to stop a burglar. Yet no one ever gets mad at him; instead they're somehow happy.

So it appeared as if Sting was letting Cena do the dirty work for him as well as being too cowardly to answer Rollins. Neither of these would've been the case if he wasn't pulled by some voice saying "must... stand... beside the talking orange billboard" which every decent man apparently has in the back of his head.

Why would they dislike Cena in this context? In any situation, Cena's ongoing series of bouts with Rollins puts them on basically the same side in the WWE against Rollins and such. The NOC two-fixture lineup is going to help somewhat, in any case they needn't mind someone going after Rollins' other title. So in that sense they're unlikely to have an issue with Cena until they do something problematic and Sting is made aware of this, which needn't happen. The scene near the end this time needn't be a problem - Cena came across decently, mostly -, but let's not forget that Sting's introduction was quite related to the Cena match during SummerSlam which was decided bizarrely, and hence none of this should come off as too outré for either side there.

I can see that. Cena is a very likeable guy he does the ''make a wish thing'' its hard not to like Cena personally.
What says who Cena likeable? :maury :Jordan Hes character is so phony and fabricated how do you consider that likeable dont speak on behalf of everyone and all the other wrestlers do make a wish just like John Cena its just him that the company constantly show to manipulate people like you into thinking hes a great guy and it works.

Answer me this If John Cena was really a great humble guy why does he feel the need to cut promos like he does make a wish dont humble guys keep quiet about that sort of thing and let people see that on they own?

Nah, John Cena should stay in the U.S. Title division for good. Let Seth Rollins stink up the WWE main event picture like he's some car salesman. Let alone talking like one. Seth Rollins should just go back to Iowa and take up a job as a car salesman who gets paid in peanuts. >:) >:)

From what I read sting just came out to stare down Rollins with Cena. Was he actually putting over Cena on the mic or something? Cause I just thought they were hyping the ppv. So yeah did I miss sting kissing Johns ass?

That is how it starts, next week is when the stupidity really starts picking up. If you don't believe they would do something horrible like make Sting say Cena is a legend, than I would like to remind you that this same company that Heyman say Reigns was better than Austin, Rock, and Taker in their prime.

Seth wanted a statue >>> only a legend gets a statue >>> to prove himself he needs to show everybody he can beat a legend (or twoo), then his claim will be somewhat reasonable. Depending on the outcome of these 2 mathes, anything can happen between Seth and The Authority.
It actually makes sense to me.

As someone said maybe Cena will be Seth excuse for losing the WWE title.

:lol I love when the Cena fans come out in droves to defend their hero. First off Cena has no business in this feud as another poster stated Rollins was calling out STING yet Cena has to come in and interject himself. Once again if they were so desperate to have Cena get his rematch just do it on Raw and get it over with.

And while the Sting kissing Cena's ass is being very subtle at the moment its only a matter of time before he is kissing his ass in promos. For crying out loud not every legend needs to be a Cena fanboy. Hogan/Flair have done enough Cena ass kissing to last a lifetime we don't need Sting joining the mix.

Honestly Sting was better off just staying in TNA.
