Even though I don't like it, when it's all said and done Triple H will be the one with the most WrestleMania main events, eventually breaking Hogan's record at 8.

If we look at the names who could break Hogan's record:
-Triple H: 6
-Rock: 5
-Cena: 5

Hunter is the biggest threat to breaking that record. He is rumored to main event Wm32 against Rock and will most likely main event another one (his retirement match).

I see Rock main eventing 2 more (one with Hunter, one with Brock or maybe Reigns).

Same for Cena (one if he eventually turns heel and one his last match).
With part timers who are bigger stars than him coming back to main event and young talents making it to the top (rollins, reigns, etc.), I don't see 3 more WM Main events for Cena who's almost 40.

I think Triple H is the closest to that record. After Wm32, he'll have one more Mania to main event until he holds that record.

If HHH main events 8 Manias, people will look at him as the guy with the most WM main events (especially since Hogan's 8th WM main event is debatable).

Another thread created just with an agenda to see people bash Triple H.

HHH haters just can't stop thinking about him. How many times do you HHH haters want to hear the same things for you being satisfied?

Here:

- HHH & his ego

- Married Stephanie

- Son-in-law

- HHH is not in Rock/Austin's league

- HHH sucks

- Fuck Triple H

- "Work with the guy"

- B+ Player

- Kliq

- Wrestlemania 32 Rock/Brock

- Ego, ego, ego

Not even close.

It doesn't matter if he does or does not, because John Cena will ultimately break every record there is and go down as the GREATEST WWE STAR OF ALL TIME. Vince will ensure of that.

Op's obsession with WM 32 main event is creepy as all fuck. Power down OP, you stupid mark.
This isn't about WM32. Nice try though.

99.9% of fans don't give a shit how many times someone has main evented Wrestlemania.
But wrestlers do.

Good. Triple H has earned it

So you are asking him to not accomplish one of his dreams and put himself over when after years he has become the most powerful man in the business ?

Of course HHH will be hogging PPV and TV time for the next two decades.

No he won't. If Hunter headlines with Rock next year, that will be his last. And even that is not confirmed. He is pushing 50 and he probably only has very few matches left in him. He is not really anywhere near a big star as Rock or even Cena or Brock. There's a reason he hasn't closed Mania in six years. He shouldn't close next year either.

And if somehow he does, who cares. Hogan is still the biggest star in Wrestlemania history and his 80s run is unbeatable in terms of impact, nevermind that the actual show is named after Hulkamania. Even when they ignore Hogan, everytime they say Wrestlemania they are really referencing him. He's too big to ignore.

I doubt it.

How many main event matches are there left for Triple H at Wrestlemania? Rock is the only one and that's for drawing purposes (Rock could draw with anybody).

But, unless the company is on the line in some weird storyline, there's no other match out there that allows Triple H to main event and is bigger than everything else on the show.

He hasn't main evented a Wrestlemania in 6 years. Are you really saying that, at the age of 46, he's got three more main events in him? And if he does, against who?

It's all smoke and mirrors. What the fuck is a main event anyways? The last match on the card???

Does THAT make it the biggest match on the show? Who decides which match goes last??? So, at Wrestlemania 18, Triple H Vs Chris Jericho was bigger than Rock Vs Hogan??? Pshhhhh.

It's all see through shit man.

Triple H is one of the top 10 sports entertainers the company has ever seen and people need to accept that sooner rather than later. Good on him if he gets to 8 or 9 ME's at WM. He will deserve it.

Either between Cena or HHH. I chose Cena but it will probably be both of them going past Hogans record. Rock i don't see Headlining Mania much, most likely just appearances like he has been doing as of late. His movie career is too important right now to risk getting injured

I find it odd Trips wants to break a Hogan record and not a Flair record (16-time World champion). I think Cena should've been granted that honor, no matter how hated he is at least Cena's the focal point for either the WWE title or because of a main-event worthy feud while Trips is just massaging his ego.

I think that's one record that would be fine to break.

If HHH breaks it? Great for him, he deserves it. He's been around forever, and has stayed relevant and interresting, and reinvented himself many times. Why not?

Cena? He is lasting longer as a main eventer than Rock and Stone Cold put together. You don't have to like him, but there's no question he is worthy of main eventing mania.

Rock? I doubt it. He's in holywood now, i can see him having some more matches, but main eventing mania? Maybe once or twice, at most, if that. Definately not 4 times to beat Hogan.

^What he said.
Main Event need not be a "match" every time. Matches are subsets of segments. Segments can be anything including a promo/skit meant for story advancement. There have been many times that a segment closed a RAW/SD or a PPV.
