Ok so lets say give or take.... Wwe Golden Era 1984 -1990. Next Generation 1993- 1995. Attitude Era 1996- 2000. Ruthless Agression Era 2003 -2009. Pg Era... Who can say when they think the PG era started, and what would you call todays era of WWE? When would u consider todays era of supertars to have begun? (Rollins, Reigns, Ambrose, Rusev,Cesaro, Wyatt)

I think the overrated attitude era started when Bret Hart left WWE.

Attitude Era started not long after WM 13 imo, the product changed dramatically in a matter of weeks. The ending is harder to define because theres as much of a stylistic difference between 2000 (which is considered AE) and 99 as there is between 00 and 02 (which isnt)

PG Era started in 08 though. We are arguably still in it since things are still PG and there arent exactly well defined elements that differentiate the "Reality Era" from the PG era stylistically. Things are maybe slightly less goofy than they were in 09/10.

PG Era kicked off with SummerSlam 2008. The PPV before that, Great American Bash, had the Michaels/Jericho match where there was literally a pool of blood. IIRC, Jericho mentioned on his podcast or an interview that the excessive blading in that match was the specific reason why Vince outlawed blood.

Could add a different era after PG era - 2008 - 2011(?) then WWE's concept began for their Network which started creation in late 2011 to early 2012 then was officially launched in Feb 2014 so say 2011-Present is Network Era (NXT etc)

HHH calls it the reality era, some call it the brock era, adrien called it something different as well. So i'm going with the reality era. @Lesnar Turtle, not only that, but today compared to even last year, they're really pushing the boundaries of what I consider a pg product.

An era itches its way in, and when the time comes, we're gonna have a trigger, just like for every other era, that will be the moment that people turn back and say "Yeah, that's the line/moment that ended the pg era". Has it come yet? Hmm idk, I don't think so, but there have been a lot of new things happening, we just have to remember that HHH and even steph think of entertainment as a different thing than vince does today.

The "reality" era for a program that is worked. Levesque should get his face punched in by his coworkers for referring to it as that, and even pushing the term.

I'd call it the Dopey Era as every character is a fucking dope or a parody, while the content of the show is just as lame.
