No no no, we're not doing this, he's the chickenshit heel, he's just going to tap, then cheat to win at SummerSlam...ughhh

That match should have ended in a non-finish though.

Firstly, Wyatt > Rollins btw.

Secondly, he isn't buried because he is an established star now similar to CM PUNK. He will hopefully always have a direction and a storyline even if its not in the main event like CM Punk had. Rollins will get his 20 minute segment each week regardless of whether he is the champion.

However it was BS having him tap out to that bum John Cena.

I'm amazed that they did that. On RAW. A month before Summerslam. After protecting Rollins W/L record since Mania, he loses clean to Cena on RAW :lol Like that is about as bad as you can get when it comes to booking. Truly moronic.

Like they outright flash Rollins weaknesses from booking to the whole world, and then PROVE THEM TO BE CORRECT by jobbing him when he has no backup.

HHH booking at its finest.

See, I think the story they're trying to tell is that Cena can beat Rollins fine, but can he beat him when the WWE title is on the line?

I heard them defending this on Review a Raw this morning and honestly...I can't agree with this at all. You summed up things nicely, as usual. The whole point of a feud is to culminate with the babyface getting his hands on the heel and beating him, proving he's the better man because he's on the side of good. This culmination usually takes place at a PPV so you can get people to pay to see the conclusion. Its a process called "making money".

Evidently this escapes WWE because they gave their co-main event of Summerslam away, for free, on a random episode of Raw, and what exactly happened? The babyface came out last week, said "you're a joke, I'm better than you and I'm gonna beat you." Then last night, he did it. No bullshit, 100% clean, John Cena > Seth Rollins. So why order the PPV and watch now? Because the WWE title is on the line? This is right up there with the same logic that you have to beat the champion in a non-title match to get a shot at the champion's title. John Cena beat him, what more is there to establish?

Remember the days when you had to win the #1 contender spot to get a shot? You had to prove you were better than everyone else and deserved the shot at the top title? Nowadays, you have to prove you're superior to the champion to get a match where the title (the bauble that proves superiority simply by owning it) is on the line. Like...you're already better than him, you BEAT HIM 1 ON 1. The title itself is just a symbol, the fact still stands. If you get a Medal of Valor in war for killing 50 enemies, and you don't get the medal in the end, does that change the fact that you still killed 50 guys? No. Cena beat him, that's it, story done. The title is just a formality.

Stupid decision. As someone said, should have ended in a DQ or non-finish. You can do that shit on TV, just leave it there and don't put it on PPV.

Cena had a broken nose and they stopped the match about 17 times. How pathetic is that. HHH kept wrestling with a completely torn quad clean off the bone. Mick foley got his tooth knocked through his nose and kept wrestling. But cena needs the match stopped every 5 seconds.

Remember when the shield said that rollins, reigns and ambrose would intimidate people backstage for better booking? Maybe rollins just took it a bit further :p

Rollins is Champion. It's impossible to bury the WWE Champion, at least I think so anyway.

Cena's win wasn't so much for Cena as it was to keep the US title legitimate. They don't want the US title to become weak again so having Rollins tap was the only other alternative.

The alternative should never be jobbing the World champion clean on RAW. This had shit to do with the US belt and everything to do with their renewed Cena propaganda. Vince probably blew his load when he saw that Cena's nose was broken so he could exploit it.

I don't understand why this couldn't wait until Summerslam, other than Rollins is winning at SS.

They are still building to the Rollins' face turn and feud with HHH, if you paid attention during the opening promo, you picked up the subtlety. Stephanie said no to Cena for the match with Seth. Then, HHH took the mic and made the match between Cena and Rollins with the twist of it being for Cena's US Title and then if Cena wins, the match at SS. Didn't H do that? If so, that was another subtle step to the Rollins/H breakup, because if you think about it H didn't have to do that and could've just left it at "no."
