So I just saw that Dean Ambrose's movie is coming out Sept 11th.
I have a theory.
Hes jobbing left and right, up and down every week because he's going to get a rocket push to try and get more publicity for the movie. Kind of like when Seth lost at Wrestlemania to Orton but won the title.
Is this a viable theory? Its coming out ON DEMAND, and I know I will be getting it....I just have to see what hes going to do for the role.
History buffs, does a wrestler get pushed more when their movie comes out?
The guy has already done everything you could possibly ask for. Sells a ton of merchandise, he has created interest in the product whenever he has been placed in the main event scene, cuts very good promos, has good ring psychology, and is the most over face on the roster. If that isn't enough for them to change their minds about him, then nothing will do it.
Ambrose has been pinned like 4 times in less than 2 weeks. That's ridiculous. It's pretty blatant that the WWE thinks the mid card is his ceiling. At least give him something meaningful to do instead of being directionless. He will probably get something meaningful around the time that movie comes out, but I seriously doubt that a rocket push is ever in his future.
Ambrose needs a sign that says Will Job for movie roles. I dont consider him a jobber, but they have given him an awful record in the big money matches. Still holding out hope that this situation is remedied and Ambrose gets his day.
Yup he sure is jobbing, that's why he's protected in every big match he's in.
