Let's be honest, Noble and Mercury are probably the smallest and least intimidating security team in history, kinda pees me off tbh, so if you think they should have used someone else instead, who would you have used???
I would have gone with William Regal and Fit Finlay. Both are big guys and both have reputations of being rough in the ring, and certainly look like they could actually hurt you, what do u think?
They're good for what they do but they interfere a little too much and that's not their fault, that's booking. Would be better if they let Rollins handle stuff on his own a little more but they're perfect goons.
I 100% agree with this. They should have gone the Ascension route, and not debuted them as complete jokes like they did. Their role should be not much more than henchmen, the same way the Acolytes started out with the Ministry.
They need to be part of a faction, because they are struggling big time on their own at the moment.
I actually like J and J to tell you the truth. They are not meant to be intimidating they just a distraction to help Rollins out of situations. They are just his pawns and it works perfectly. He can sacrifice them anytime. It's also a big plus that Jamie Noble is quite funny.
The Ascension. It would've further emphasised Triple H's ideas for The Authority being about the future, and Rollins could actually win some 6 man tag team matches.
Hideo Itami with a Yakuza type gimmick and Neville as a suited mercenary.
1. They're both smaller than Rollins, so he'd still look tall by default.
2. They're actually threatening, active wrestlers, and this would be a good way to establish them on the main roster.
3. They'd kick the crap out of people in style like this:
4. Rollins' Running Powerbomb into Neville's Red Arrow would be super hype.
