I see sooooo many negative Rollins threads. Before he won at Mania people were practically BEGGING.for him to be the champ and I was at mania the pop his music got when he came out during main event and when he won was INSANE.

Since then people have turned on him,but I will just chLk that up to being a great heel. :) hell he got banned at a random music festival lol.

Anyway. IMO Rollins is the best heel of at least the last decade. I watch wrestling with my dad. And my dad knows it's scripted but sometimes he gets so invested into it he basically acts like it's real. Like when I first started watching me and my dad would curse HHH for using the sledge hammer. We hated HHH. But that's was the point. Now with Rollins my dad is at the same level and actually hated Rollins more than he did HHH back then. My dad has said "that's bullshit I'm not gonna watch anymore if he gets to have his buddies help him"which of course he does watch again lol.

People complain about his mic skills. Yet I honk he's amazing on the mic. He pulls off that cocky entitled prick character PERFECT.
Some say he doesn't draw. Well ALL of pro wrestling is in a down time draw wise. And outside of mania nobody can draw now a days really. HBK didn't draw in his era. Even lesnar couldn't spike ratings.

Skills wise I don't see any area that is not great. He just had the best ladder match since Jericho Benoit in 2001 IMO.

ANYWAY. I'm tired of all the Rollins bashing threads. So I decided to make an appreciation thread for him. Haters are more than welcome to come in hwee to DEBATE but no straight up bashing.

ROLLINS MARKS UNITE!

GTFO with this lame attempt to change this into another "Rollins doesn't draw" thread.

Aww, what's the matter, can't handle a little criticism towards Rollins? Too bad, he's trash - he deserves any criticism he gets. And on this site, he gets nowhere near enough.

They made him "the guy" because they hate wrestlers with charisma and mic skills - which precludes easily the best former member of The Shield, Dean Ambrose.
I disagree, he is the most over but I do not find him to be the best. I think Rollins has a more well rounded performance package.

Are you that sensitive OP? Do you "____ appreciation thread" every time somebody criticize a wrestler. Take Ambrose for example, 99/100 thread made concerning him is a bash one. Or you can also take Roman, Ryback, Salomon Crowe etc.. Do we act like it's the end of the world? Don't think we do. So just kick back man, it's not that serious.

LOL the criticisms Rollins get it's nothing I'm an ADR fan and people were so brutal with him, when Rollins get that level of hate I would agree with OP.

Rolling it's still a IWC darling, and one of the most overrated piece of trash here, worst of all hes also overrated by WWE, hope Samoa Joe Muscle Buster this hack so I can finally watch more than 15 min of RAW.

Rollins s the most charismatic wrestler on the roster right now, how anyone thinks other wise is beyond me. What is it suddenly cool to hate Seth? Before you know it Reigns well be world champ, and it well be cool to hate him too. Anyone who hates Rollins, has no legit reason other then their fav is not in his position.

I am a big Rollins fan but he needs to ditch the fucking authority. His title reign has been harder to watch than JBL's.

Ok we get it, he is a bit of a chickenshit. But this rinse and repeat shit with the authority is well past his sell by date.

Two toned Jesus is great and easily my favorite on the roster.

His booking has been dreadful this year though. And the angles he's in suck too. Kane, J&J, running away, rinse and repeat. They finally showed some character development around MITB but the storyline is back to square one.

Get him away from the Authority and watch more people like him again.

Here is something you can appreciate about him. His drawing power is historic[ally bad.]

From Meltzer's July 6, 2015 column:

Raw in May averaged a 2.66 rating and 3.69 million viewers, making it the lowest month outside of football season in 17 years. That number was down 5.3% in ratings and 5.6% in total audience from the 2.81 rating and 3.91 million viewers last year. In 2013, the numbers were a 2.89 average rating and 4.04 million viewers.
Raw on 6/29 fell to an 18 year seasonal low, dating back to the period when Nitro was handing Raw a beating, doing a 2.51 rating and 3.46 million viewers (1.43 viewers per home).

The previous non-Holiday low outside of football season was set on 5/4, a 2.55 rating and 3.57 million viewers. Aside from holiday shows that fell on July 4th, Christmas and New Year's Eve, it was the least-watched episode of the show since 1997, except for a December 3, 2012 episode against a New York Giants vs. Washington Redskins game that did monster ratings. Raw that night did a 2.52 rating and 3.43 million viewers. The October 22, 2012, episode against the NFL did a 2.48 rating and 3.55 million viewers, which would be the only lower rating since the Monday Night Wars, except for a holiday show.

What makes this number so bad is that there was no sports competition of note, with the biggest sports event being a routine baseball game that did 669,000 viewers on ESPN. So there was no reason for this number other than a lack of interest in the product.
Worst drawing champion/main eventer in nearly 2 decades. Yay Rollins!

But the trolls who still claim they are fans of his will ignore this, just as they ignore other facts about Rollins' being an anti-draw. After all, they are Holocaust and global warming deniers.

Nobody draws. Even before mania around rumble and fast lane time when the focus was on roman and Bryan they were still hitting record lows.

Rollins is awesome. He is very good in the ring, even though I find him to be overrated at times, because in my opinion, while he is great, he is still not on the level of the best in ring workers in the world like Bryan, Zayn, Cesaro, Tanahashi, Styles etc. But he is great in the ring. Good on the mic, especially when you think about how bad he was in ROH. He was really bad. He has improved A LOT when it comes to mic work.

I don't think he is the best talent WWE has right now, but he definitely is one of the best. Rollins is awesome. (Y)

I really like Rollins too. He's looked weak due to bad finishes, getting pinned on tv and being put in too many over long segments on Raw.

They always do this. Then a section of the audience starts throwing around terms like "no charisma"
"Overrated" and "not believable" and they get heralded as a failure and end up on the back burner.
