1) Talent evaluations across the board from offices to wrestlers. There are good and bad workers at every level, even amongst the writers. Short term quality increase from focusing on the current crop of skilled employees and a long term shift in hiring practices+presentation as the best of now leads a new generation.of employees.
2) Keep raw three hours, but can the 20 min promos for some quality video packages either as documentaries/behind the scenes or as FILMED/ACTED backstage skits ala Lucia Underground.
NXT has the right idea with the Finn Balor doc. Adam Rose could have gotten over as Ray Lappan if they showed bits of the ESPN doc. Backstage skits would be better than the crap we get. Closeups, direction, snoring, etc... You need a decent director to make it happen. LU does it. WWE can for all of their funds.
3) STABLES - I miss stables. In the wwes prime, you would see groups like the ministry, dx, corporation, nation of domination, etc... And it makes sense. Why wouldn't wrestlers make alliances? Plus, it mixes up programming. If Reigns is after Wyatt, he could have two singles matches against Rowan and Harper before even considering him facing Wyatt. Make PPV showdowns mean something. Never mind handicap matches, interference, etc... You should get 6 shows before they really face each other. Nevermind gang battles (4on4, 5on5 etc...).
So give us the reunited Shield, New Day, a much larger Wyatt family (Wyatt, Bo, their sister from nxt, Harper, Rowan, and Ascension), a better Authority (Cesaro, Owens, Kane, and heel Neville), The Balor Club (Balor, Itami, and hire the Bucks), NXT four horsewomen, Summer's BFFs or whatever she had in NXT, etc...Stable it up.
It also makes giants, like Show, Lesnar, Henry, and eventually, Corbin look like beasts because they'll take on/hold their own against a stable solo.Though for a storyline, eventually do a big man stable and some nice destroying stuff spots.
4) Brand Split. If we're going to put more emphasis on the wrestlers and teams, add video packages, etc...we need two shows with two teams. That way decent talent doesn't drop off the card. Tag team championships aren't preshow matches. The cards are bloated.
5) Greater emphasis on tag team wrestling. To keep things interesting, Raw has tag teams, Smackdown has Trios. Tag team wrestling was heating up recently, keep focusing on it for quality matches and to give something for 'lost' wrestlers, like Ceaaro and Kidd. Not to mention, it elevates the stables when each group has a tag team.
