World Heavyweight Title-This is for Money in the bank winners and for when Vince lets Brock run off with the WWE title for 4 months without a title defense.
IC Title - is legendary and is WWF home grown.
Screw the U.S.title im bring in the TV title.
Tag Team Titles - are a given.
Divas title or women's title - who cares the actual wrestling sucks.
No need for the lightheavyweight title or the hardcore title.
Anyways ... for me it would be something like this:
1. The main company title WWE
2. Tag team title
3. Women's Championship
And that's it. When you really look at it, there is no need for any other titles .. and one of the main reasons why NXT is so successful is because it only has 3 titles and that's it. The more titles you put in, the more diluted they become. The word champion gets tossed around way too often and it loses meaning to the point where they have to throw in numbers before the title and therefore someone's 3 reigns 1 of which may have included a better storyline than someone's entire 12 reigns does not get his due in the future.
Everyone should be fighting for one prize and one prize only. No other props are needed whatsoever.
That would suck. WWE have a massive roster with loads of talent. It would never work with one title. Too many guys would be let hung out to dry. Not everyone can be a main-eventer. If you take away all the other titles away then the lower card wrestler would have nothing to fight for or no goals to achieve. Everyone should want to be a champion.
I'd go back to two separate rosters, given that there's a huge roster right now with a lot of great talent in the developmental pipeline.
Each one should have a world title, a tag title, a secondary singles title (IC on one show, US on the other), and a women's division on the show with the smaller men's roster.
WWE World Heavyweight Championship - the absolute top title in the company, unified and shit as well, goes to only the absolute top superstars (John Cena, The Rock, Brock Lesnar).
WWE Intercontinental Championship - second best prize in the company, used for guys who they think would be good for a title run as a test reign (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns).
WWE European Championship - the midcard for life belt, given to guys who have a slight chance at the title but is really a pipe dream till i becomes true, this is really just to throw them a bone (Dolph Ziggler, Ryback, Sheamus).
WWE Hardcore Championship - a novelty belt, given to jobbers for a comedic program perhaps (Zack Ryder, Heath Slater, Santino Marella).
WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Intercontinental Championship
WWE World Tag Team Championships
WWE Women's Championship
You could argue about having another mid-card title but I feel it would devalue the I.C Championship, plus having one mid-card championship allows for better competition and gets better emphasis.
WWE Title
Tag Titles
IC Title
US or TV title, but if TV title, I would have defended either every week or every other week, I enjoyed when TNA did that, although that only lasted like a month
Cruiserweight title, although I think it may stop the people in the division from ever moving up, but I think that could be like Neville's division
You could have
- Neville
- Tyler Breeze
- Kalisto
- Sin Cara
- Xavier Woods
- Kofi Kingston
- Tyson Kidd
- The Brian Kendrick, if they ever choose to have him come back full time
- Hideo Itami
- Solomon Crowe
Main Titles:
WWE World Heavyweight Championship
WWE Intercontinental Championship
WWE Cruiserweight/Light-Heavyweight Championship (230 lbs weight limit)
WWE World Tag Team Championship
WWE Women's World Championship
WWE Divas' Tag Team Championship
NXT:
NXT Heavyweight Championship
NXT 15 Championship
NXT Tag Team Championship
NXT Women's Championship
NXT Women's Tag Team Championship
Gonna go a little bit different here, borrow a little bit from New Japan
WWE WHC - Main title. Only defended at the 4 main PPVs & Night of Champions
IC Title (Rename WWE Jr. Heavyweight title) - Defended on all the other PPVs. Title holder is automatically granted a #1 Contendership for WWE WHC. If he wins the WWE WHC, Jr. Heavyweight title is vacated and a new holder is crowned through a mini tournament.
Tag Team
Women's/Divas
EDIT: I just remembered one more caveat about the Jr. Heavyweight title. The holder must have two successful title defenses before getting a shot at the WWE WHC. If the holder does not meet the qualifications by the time a WWE WHC match comes around, the challenger for the WWE WHC will be decided by the usual fuckery WWE does now
