First of all, was just thinking about older signature moves, and how good they were, for example Jericho - Lionsault, Kane - Powerbomb, Undertaker - Chokeslam, Edge - Edgomatic etc and I dont think WWE really understanmds the importance of these being able to finish lower profile matches. Its gotten to a point where I dont believe even a finishing move will end a match, let alone a signature move, these signatures may aswell just be a scoop slam or snapmare for how effective they are.

A lot of these signature moves could be used a finishing moves today for new talent, with approval from the old characters.

Is there any other signature moves you guys really enjoyed?

I always get a kick out of Cole flipping out about Ziggler's Fameasser. I don't think he's ever won a match with it but Cole makes it out like the match is over when Dolph hits it.

I know it was the weaker of most finishers but I enjoyed The Rock Bottom and The People's Elbow. I liked Lex Lugar's finisher, I think it was called "the rack" or something, I can't remember. I like Scott Hall's "Outsider's Edge" I like the Hardy's Boys finisher, which is kind of similar to the RKO (my fave) and the Diamond Cutter. Same move, but different styles.

The problem with the finishers these days is wrestlers are recovering from the move so quickly, reversing it too easily or kicking out of it. It takes away its significance. I can't tell a finisher from the other moves now, unless the commentators make it clear and for the most part they don't. Honestly, If I didn't play 2k15 I wouldn't know what half of the finishers were called.
