Now that's a tough schedule

I'll add to this by saying - Bless him. How about posting a pic of his bank balance? It's a long day, but broken down by lots of small sections so appears worse than what it is. I also think it may be an extreme example, if not why bother posting it.

Yes they have busy schedules and spend much of their time in transit but there's millions holding down several jobs over longer hours just to feed their families. I'm fortunate to be able to survive with one job. I respect the wrestlers for the time they put in, but I don't sympathize with those at the top level. It more likely a choice, not a necessity and they are financially rewarded for it.

The Indy guys, travelling across their countries (outside of day jobs) to earn next to nothing are a different kettle of fish IMHO.

Ziggler's such a show off :wink2:

It's really eye opening and makes you realize some of the top talents not in WWE just aren't cut out for it, or don't want to put up with all of that, which makes perfect sense.

It's not a typical day either, but when they do media days before shows, it's a lot of running around, morning interviews, barely finding time for a gym, eat and then to the arena by 2pm, and many of those who do those early morning media runs don't sleep.

This is one time I fully agree with old timers and wish for the older days back just because this shit wasn't expected of wrestlers. They had hard schedules but didn't have to do all the stupid media shit.

What bugs me about it is that it doesn't have to be that way. This is completely the way Vince has set it up. And what bothers me more is that he's managed to create a culture where this sort of crazy work schedule and guys even working themselves to the point of long term harm to themselves is celebrated as guys being "tough and dedicated". He has the guys saying they "live, eat breathe WWE" and "this is everything to them" and they have no life outside of it etc... as if that is a great virtue.

The worst example of this was making Seth fly cross-country and back, just to be on the Today show. So short-sighted. How much was that appearance being done in studio, really worth in the long run?

Maybe don't schedule things all the way across the country on a Monday, when you know you're on the West Coast on both Sunday and Monday. Disgusting, and he knows his wrestlers feel like they can't say no. He takes advantage.

He thinks that because he works hard doing something completely different, that equates to the lives that wrestlers have to deal with. Often without limos and private jets, I might add.

Vince does not protect his wrestlers at all. He takes years off of their careers, and he's too silly to see that. Everything is about being in the moment.

It's called living the adult life. Anyone giving sympathy to Zigs is obviously a kid, or a grown adult with no job, or part time job.

Plus he's getting paid lavishly for all of this. Ask anyone if they would switch lives with Ziggler, and I guarantee they would. He gets a ton of tang, money, and gets to travel the world!

Yet a poster in here is saying wrestlers should get an off season :ha

Hold this L poster who said that

I sympathize with you more for working 5 days a week in an office

Lets just be real here for a second. Ziggler never works the same day twice. He is always being exposed to new scenes, new tang, more money, and gets to regularly be on tv. If you feel bad for him for having to work a long day (with multiple breaks) than thats just how you feel.

Over an hour for a room service lunch and over 2 hours to "freshen up" for the evening activities.

This looks difficult to you guys? Jesus, executives in a company have much tougher schedules. Lunch ordered in during a meeting, no time to "freshen up", it's straight from the office to the restaurant for more dinner meetings.

This is a busy schedule through the glass of a high school kid, but then again that's about 90% of this forum so I understand the feedback.

I used to work 12 hour days with two 10 minute breaks and a 40 minute lunch... and I still can see how that schedule is hard. Wanna try again without your foot in your mouth?

I'm ccna certified work netops for ISP. But after putting in 16 years with company I'm permanently on call. In return I stay home. I got free broadband to home my own rack servers with Nagios running. If I get call from my techs they can't solve I remote in, ssh or whatnot. Or if a NPS power cycle on the rack don't solve, I head in. Swap hardware, etc.

So I may get call at 3am or whenever I have to be ready at moments notice. I keep a tablet with ssh/ftp/console tools with me at all times.

So I could technically say I work 24/7. Then again I don't unless something breaks...

Most things are Linux, with a Cisco 12000 series a few redbacks, and field techs deal with dslams

Our call center techs are morons though. I wish the hiring requirements were A+ certification minimum, but they hire anyone and shove a script in their face.

Funny you mentioned Brock thats one of the big reasons he drove away from the WWE. Their schedules are just insane you basically have no life and I can imagine how Cena does this. I work over 40 hours and man I get worn out imagine this guys (although they arent always like this, but I can say Cena is probably the busiest out of all the wrestlers).
