Sable was huge and was pretty popular too! Yeah, she was truly over and completely eclipsed her then husband Marc Mero. Trish and Lita were very popular too, but Sable just felt omipresent. Her carer was like a supernova. She exploded then cooled off rapidly.
Sable followed closely by Chyna since Sable's on the list. And why is Chyna blacklisted ... Are you a WWE shill?
Personally, I wouldn't have included the AE divas in this poll, but since they're there it's Sable all the way. She was part of the product when it was pulling in some of its highest ratings. If you ask anyone, they'll know Sable. She was as mainstream as the Rock and Austin.
Other AE divas were just as mainstream but Sable beats them because she was the first.
Sable's popularity during the AE was massive, and Chyna was booked as a credible threat to the men on the roster. As popular as Trish and Lita were, Sable and Chyna were in a different league entirely.
1. Trish Status. Hands down - 0 competition. As great and popular as Lita ever was - it's crystal clear that Trish was always just a step higher. It's like Hogan/Macho Man, you would never say Macho Man was more popular than Hogan, same with Trish/Lita
AJ wasn't on the same level, thought she was still mighty popular.
Sable is the only one able to give Trish a run for her money, and even easilly *surpass* her at her very peak. But overall? Trish is thought of as the best diva, not Sable. Sable is more like Goldberg in terms of very high peak, but then fizzled out quickly. Her peak was huge tho.
Compared to live crowds it is and always was Sable, Chyna and Lita. Lita will always bet the most popular and was more popular than Trish and didn't need a huge push like Trish was.
Most popular divas were Trish, Lita and Sable.
But I watched some late RA-early PG era divas matches and Mickie James was fucking OVER, I dunno is that popularity but she was hot at that time(Melina was aso over but not much as Mickie).
Lita or Trish. but I go with Lita because her unique look and in-ring style which could impressive next generetion more than Trish. and if I'm not mistaken many divas claim Lita was their inspiration.
Sable may well known at her time. but not now. now she even more well know as Lesnar wife than her own.
Everyone will vote for Trish, but it's easily Sable (if she counts for modern history). Go back to Wrestlemania 14 and see the pop that she got when she got tagged in. Any place she went, she got mega pops.
Ruthless Aggression Era - RAW - Trish Stratus. SmackDown! - Torrie Wilson.
PG Era - Kelly Kelly
Reality Era - AJ Lee
LoL at People saying The Bellas how many people Follow them on social media proves nothing, just listen to their next to nothing crowd reactions. Being hot doesn't equal popularity, non-wrestling fans will follow Diva's simply because they are hot and have literally no idea who they are.
I chose the Bella Twins, because of their social media followers, TV ratings and recognition for Total Divas-- which equals a much more appealing Q-score than AJ Lee. I've also considered merchandise sells -- I see just as many Brie-mode shirts at house events as Cena shirts. The crowds are silent for all the divas, unless it's on SD where the noise is obviously piped in, so that doesn't prove anything. Being hot, for women, does equal popularity. It's the only reason women in the entertainment business are popular these days, unfortunately. If WWE didn't think AJ was hot, she wouldn't have been employed. Unfortunately, she wasn't as hot as the Bellas twins.

At her peak popularity it was probably Sunny. Trish is a close second.
