Thought I'd post a couple of these to see what people think with the benefit of hindsight. Amazing some of these actuslly exist.
Lets start with....
Johnny Curtis, now known as Fandango. I wasn't watching at the time, but seeing these I can't help but think Curtis really had some upside as a babyface. He has a decent look. Maybe they should scrap the dancing gimmick altogether.
NEXT....
Derrick Bateman, otherwise known as EC3 in TNA. They really dropped the ball on this guy and how entertaining he really can be. I'm glad he got to show his real talents in TNA, he has loads of potential. Really entertaining if given the opportunity.
Next up...
CONOR O BRIAN, or one half of what would become The Ascension. I think Ascension really had potential when they were more like Vampires instead of knock off road warriors. Oh well. What more can I say...still interesting to see. Nice backstory here, really turns him babyface even though he naturally looks like a heel.
Next.
Broadus Clay. Now Tyrus in TNA. Nothing but wasted potential I feel. Really could have been something more than a dancing fat guy. Maybe with the benefit of hindsight they should have gone with the monster enforcer gimmick. Oh well.
Next...
AJ LEE. Watching this video they didn't change up her character much, but this one is by far the saddest for me. I'm not going to get into detail with the whole ordeal but it's just SD the way things ended up knowing her whole life this is all she wanted to do. Politics and bullshit. Next...
ahhhh what would this post be without Daniel Bryan. Obviously the most succesful of the bunch. Just funny seeing a clean cut Daniel Bryan right now.
HOLY SHIT BYRON SAXTON WAS IN NXT?? Why did they give up on this guy so early? I see much potential in him, especially as a heel. I see why they went with him as an announcer since he has a news caster background but I csnt help but feel he could be much more. Even on commentary I want him to turn heel. You just can't help but want to hate this guy.
You all can post more if you'd like. I wasn't watching at the time so there's probably more that I've missed.
