Kevin Owens should go over John Cena and Randy Orton

Have Owens defeat Cena at the Elimination Chamber then feud with Orton soon after and have him defeat him as well. That would do wonders for him. It'd be similar to Jericho bragging about pinning Austin and Rock in the same night.

they need to shake up the show. raw is the same shit, a guy coming in and shocking the wwe universe would be nice.

I think him debuting against cena is a mistake if he doesn't pin him. and if he wrestles cena and goes back to nxt to not be seen again for months is a mistake as well.

I think owens is another case of them throwing shit out there with no clear idea what they're doing. owens can't afford to leave nxt, he can't afford to lose to cena clean because then he's just like everyone else.

this is nothing more but another wwe booking fuck up.

No.

You need to build to that. No matter how good Steen was on the indie scene or how good Owens is in NXT, there's a significant portion of the WWE fanbase that has no idea who he is. You need to build interest in him for them. Give them a reason to want to see this happen. It should be a slow process, with him beating a few mid carders before being elevated to that position.

And as someone else said, if anybody does that, it should be Ambrose. A familiar face amongst the actual WWE fanbase that doesn't deserved to be leapfrogged by a guy who has only been on the WWE map now for 6-7 months now.

Why rush Owens? You're gonna have him peak after being in the company for less than a year? And let me guess, in the end, he puts over somebody like Itami in his main show debut. In other words, let's hotshot for the sake of hotshotting and refuse to actually build interest in any of this because I guess it doesn't need build, since the entire main roster fanbase is already sold on Owens.

Nah.

People want new stars yet ridicule when any potential new star is lined up for a push..

At some stage somebody is going to need to beat Cena, he can't continue to get the better off every young talent he faces..

Owens is brilliant and could be huge.. He's a great heel and his attitude is perfect for that heel role.. Have him take Cena out and build to something between them.

Because you have to build stars first and this idea isn't building Owens. It's having him peak in beyond quick fashion.

If you want to build Owens as a star, then build him up to face Cena and Orton, not immediately have him go over them and follow it up by having him go over people with a significantly lower status than them. And no way in hell should he go over Brock.

Because then, you've rushed Owens to the position where somebody has to beat him, all for the sake of rushing the guy and portraying him as somebody that accomplished so much, so quick that he has no further to go.

He's not going over Cena. Cena put over Brock last year, that's his one for the decade. This new US title run SHOULD have been a perfect way to get Cena out of the way. Have him crush a bunch of jobbers and hold the belt for ten years.

But no. Now they're just going to have him go over everyone for a secondary belt. This is actually WORSE than his 10 year World Title reign. At least then the guys he was going over got some main event experience.

Now he's going to go over everyone before they ever get to the main event level.

Rusev is done. This feud is basically the end for Rusev. He will never be a serious main event talent now. If he can't beat the US Champ, how can we take him seriously going after the world title?

This most recent match at Payback solidified Cena (and whoever he's feuding with) to fast-forward status. I'm not interested in watching even Kevin Owens if he's just going to be used to make Cena look strong. What's the point?

Nah, I think at this point in time Owens should lose by getting himself DQd because he beats the holy hell out of Cena with the belt or something to make a statement. Let him go back to NXT to finish up down there then bring him back up for a feud with Cena which Owens should go over. Preferably not for the US title, I'd rather him just win a feud then move on to something else.

The smart move is have Joe interfere and cost Owens the match, thus keeping him strong for his permanent debut. The genius move is having Owens win... clean. The money move is having Owens disqualified, have Joe come and make the save, and then have Seth Rollins bring back the curbstomp(eh... little kids are always gonna do fucked up shit, and its up to their parents/guradians and everyone hates the banning of the move anyhow) on a weakened John Cena, thus setting up a showdown at the next PPV.

I believe they are gonna take the easy route and have Owens win. This will create complications within the storyline structures, but at least make things interesting. Put them writers to work *cracks whip* it's about damn time they start putting themselves to task instead of letting Vince book Chief Jay Strongbow vs Gorilla Monsoon in 2015.

The reason why, is because ever since #cancelwwenetwork , the failure of Reigns and the unacceptance of Vince's antiquated booking,(Big Show vs Roman Reigns a la Hogan vs Andre) someday it will be in style again Vinnie, but not now; they are afraid of the IWC and it's powers to bury an angle or performer online. Smart move, but they can't let the IWC control the product either. They must provide a balance.
