I'm naming full-timers only, so no Hunter or Brock.
Brawler
Rusev, or maybe Ambrose. I like how they combine technique into their brawling instead of keeping them separate. Sheamus too, I guess.
In-ring heel tactics
Has to be Rollins, will probably be unquestioned until Lesnar returns.
Hardcore wrestler
Ambrose would kick ass at this if it came back.
High flyer
Really? Anyone's contesting this category anymore since Neville premiered?
Powerhouse
Has to be Cesaro for being the real secret identity of "superman" based on his feats. Rusev in 2nd for his ridiculous versatility and execution for such a big guy with such powerful moves.
Showman
Bray and Ambrose. Insane psychology and unpredictability, plus integrating their characters into not only the matches, but their movesets as well.
Submission artist
Do they still have anyone who specializes in submissions?
Technician
Bryan's gone, right? I guess Cesaro or Cody. Natalya gets props.
Brawler
Is there actually anybody nowadays who could fill this category? WWE waters down their 'brawlers' so much nowadays. Maybe Sheamus. Reigns has shown his worth. Bray as well.
In-ring heel tactics
Seth Rollins. Nobody comes close. He's the champ after all.
Hardcore wrestler
Ambrose. Really inventive as well.
High flyer
Neville. Duh.
Powerhouse
Cesaro. Inhuman amounts of power this guy possesses.
Showman
Bray. The guy is a natural. Untouchable.
Submission artist
I honestly cannot answer this because I can't think of anybody. Daniel Bryan I guess if he still counts. If not then Rusev cos of his finisher.
Technician
Again I am stretched but again I will say Cesaro. He's a powerhouse and a technician. Pity about his charisma...
I am not the best at this so: (I don't think many of these actually exist in WWE)
Brawler-King Barrett. I thought Sheamus, but basically anyone from U.K. is up for a good brawl. I just feel Barrett is higher up on food chain so him of Captain "you look ugly".
In-ring heel tactics-I guess Rollins, Bray has had terrible PPV's this year.
Hardcore wrestler-Kane probably, but Ambrose at Wrestlemania was the last hardcore thing I remember. (I seriously thought Ambrose was gonna Curb Stomp Rollins into those bricks, kudos)
High flyer-Neville, the one and only
Powerhouse-Cesaro all the way, does anyone remember 1st annual Andre Giant contest, I was a believer since.
Showman-Ryback, dude has head liner in his future.
Submission artist-Rusev, too bad he can't learn more than Iron Shiek's move.
Technician-Cesaro, Swiss Superman good enough for more than 1 spot. Cause quite honestly I would pick a woman if no other choice.
Brawler Luke Harper In-ring heel tactics New Day or Sheamus Hardcore wrestler Can't speak on this, hardcore doesn't exist in WWE anymore much to my dismay and I haven't paid attention to other promotions. High flyer Kalisto...yeah, that's right, I said it Powerhouse Legitimately, Brock, Big E, Ryback in that order. Showman Bray Wyatt Submission artist Orton? Hell if I know, submission moves are only used for those tension building spots anymore... Technician Brock Lesnar
Brawler: Dean Ambrose
In ring-hell tactics: Seth Rollins
Hardcore: Ambrose or Luke Harper
High Flyer: Kofi Kingston, nobody has consistently pulled the stunts he has. Neville is looking great though
Powerhouse: Brock Lesnar. Full Time, Rusev.
Showman: Damien Sandow and Bray Wyatt are the only legit answers. Wyatt shades it for having a more defined character.
Submission artist: John Cena right, only guy booked with a powerful submission move. For range of moves, Daniel Bryan?
Technician: Cesaro
Note, NXT isn't the WWE roster. When someone appears on Raw with NXT on the LED boards, they're still on the NXT roster.
Brawler
Sheamus, easily.
In-ring heel tactics
Rollins, although it's not really in-ring. In-ring heel stuff only exists in tag matches these days. There are no rules to break to be a heel.
Hardcore wrestler
Ambrose, purely because he's been in the most 'hardcore' matches of late.
High flyer
Neville/Kalisto
Powerhouse
Rusev
Showman
They're all Showmen/women no? I think constantly throwing people around is being a showman. So, Lesnar.
Submission artist*
Kinda irrelevant. No one actually works on a body part to then apply a submission barring maybe Rusev.
Can someone tell me why so many people are giving hardcore wrestler to Dean? What about any of his matches is hardcore? This isn't a knock at him. I am genuinely interested in why because I don't see it at all.
Brawler - Sheamus
In ring heel tactics - Barrett
Hardcore wrestler - Sheamus
High flyer - Neville
Powerhouse - Ryback
Showman - Wyatt
Submission artist - Rusev
Technician - Cesaro
