Shawn vs. Bryan, from a quality standpoint. On paper, I'd imagine the potential for better chemistry based on being in the ballpark of the same size, athletic as fuck and with the "mentor" (I know, he really wasn't) vs. protege factor, a better story can be told in the build up and in the ring.
However, I'm intrigued by the story of "Lie, Cheat and Steal" Eddie trying to put Taker down. The lengths Eddie would go to get in Taker's mind. Of course, steal the urn. Possibly some fuckery to cost Taker a match.
I'd go with HBK v Bryan because they would really click together. Eddie was fantastic too, but the size difference with Taker might hurt the match for some. Not for me, of course.
Shawn vs. Bryan would've been the better match but for me personally I would've wanted to see Eddie vs. Taker more for the same reasons mentioned above and Eddie & Taker had an awesome exchange with each other during the Fatal 4 Way WWE Title match at Armageddon 2004.
Daniel Bryan vs. Michaels, though Bryan could have better matches with just about anybody on the current roster. Shawn Michaels is nowhere near Bryan's level.
Eddie vs. Taker; only to hear his music on more time and ride out in a custom low rider, though the new PG Era would probably kill his return due to lack of pop because these kids don't know EG's music. Just to see Guerrero lie, cheat and steal again in a match I never seen before.
Damn 10 years already in November... R.I.P. LATINO HEAT 1967-2005
Good god all mighty. I'm a Daniel Bryan fan as much as the next guy but you marks saying Shawn is nowhere near his level or that Bryan is the greatest in ring worker of all time? Wow. Even Bryan would say HBK is a better worker than he is. HBK was voted by his peers as the greatest performer in history so you sound like an idiot when you say he's nowhere near Bryan's level.
Anyways, I'd say Bryan/HBK would most likely be the better match. You know both of them will always deliver with pretty much anyone they're in the ring with. Eddie was phenomenal, but Taker is sort of hit and miss with me (just my opinion). Taker/Guerrero could potentially be amazing, or it could just end up being a match that was good enough. Whereas I don't think Bryan/HBK has any doubt to it.
No comparison threads please. Plus this one is impossible to even discuss properly tbh for obvious reasons.
No thoughts from you either OP?
