I know WWE isn't perfect, but I still hear people complaining that WWE has no idea wtf it's doing, when they've literally handed the IWC everything we've (yes I recognize that as a forum poster I'm also a member of the IWC) asked for and some of you are still bitching and whining about booking.
- You wanted the title on Rollins (or at least not on Reigns)... it's on Rollins
- You wanted Sheamus to return heel... he returned as a heel, even with some subtle more heelish changes to his gimmick
- You wanted Ziggler to be in high profile feuds... he's feuding with Sheamus and is literally just a tier below the main event
- You wanted Sandow to be pushed... he's getting pushed and getting his own segments on RAW and Smackdown
- You wanted Cena out of the WWE Title picture... he's nowhere near it at the moment
- You wanted the midcard titles to be elevated and pushed... the midcard titles are on the two most popular superstars on the roster, the IWC darling D-Bry and the mainstream darling Cena
- You wanted Neville to be called up and pushed... he's called up and almost pins the fucking WWE Champion
Try to enjoy the damn product instead of worrying about booking so much.
But he's now burying Rusev and the entire midcard underneath his boots; he makes them all look horribly weak.

No we got "CENA WINS LOL" Mid Card Edition and Bryan getting injured (not WWE's fault of course); no elevation has taken place unless you count all the mid-carders Cena is putting up on his shoulders for the AA and burying to make himself look good.
Try to enjoy the damn product instead of worrying about booking so much.
A push here and there is like putting some lipstick on a pig. If you didn´t find the pig attractive before the lipstick wouldn´t change much at all.
WWE need a major overhaul. WWE programming is Vince produced by Kevin Dunn. It´s been more or less exactly the same for ages. A the complete breakdown of the creative. A creative that nobody have much of a say or could be held responsible with the sloppy and directionless booking.
Sure a wrestler could be hot for a while but a few month later when their storylines ran its course its far from given that the creative have anything close as good.
Just look at Shaemus who they promote heavy now after 2 years of having no idea what to do with. In another 6 month or a year they could very well cooled him down because they´re out of ideas. As a result the fans just take it for what it is at the moment and don´t invest much in the future like they did for example in 93 with Bret Hart when Yokuzuna were champion. There´s just no trust anymore.
WWE not only need to overhaul how they present their product but it will takes year to gain back the fans trust to invest in the wrestler.
I think it should be notes, the people bitching aren't necessarily the same ones who wanted the things you mention. The negativity can get a bit old (I do it to not pretending I don't). But while it seems like people complain about one thing needing to happen then complain when it does happen, usually it is not the same person complaining in both instances.
Although I don't deny some people just love to whine and will whine about Rollins being champ and so and so should be champ, then if WWE has rollins drop the belt to that person will complain how undeserving that person is. Some people are just whiners.
But most of the time it is not the same people. The IWC is not a single entity. Although I will say part of the reason it seems like the IWC never does anything but complain is on us. Many members will be quick to complain if they don't like something, but then if what they want to happen happens will not say a damn word about how happy they are about it. It doesn't mean they aren't enjoying it. But instead of relishing it to many of us will then move to the next complaint.
It is kind of like with the #givedivasachance . There are campaigns online to improve it, there is complaining about it online, there are plans to hijack the bad Divas matches, there are plans to do anything except show WWE we support the Divas by you know... loudly chearing them and praising when they do do a good job with them. (admittedley not that often). The IWC doesn't quite get at times that positive reinforcement has a place too.
It would be nice to spread some positive energy on here more than we do.
RAW is just a bad show. No one can guilt trip me into watching just because Reigns isn't champ, Cena isn't champ, Neville moved up, Ziggler has a storyline where men kiss each others ass. WTF.
Wrestling is so simple. Have good wrestling, promo's and storylines with interesting characters.
RAW is more concerned with production, tv time for Steph and Triple H, selling clothing, having Diva's for people that have never heard of porn.
I'm enjoying the NBA playoffs, NHL playoffs, and Summer!!!
I can be happy with the product, in theory. The current product is no where near that point for me. So, yes, there are some good segments, but I shan't edit myself from criticizing the plethora of crap segments that are overrepresented in the 3 hour grind of RAW.
And why is that? Because we discuss things, analyze them on a forum? Some things will be negative, in fact most things will be considering that the WWE isn't that enjoyable right now. It doesn't mean I will never be happy. In fact, I was really into it from SummerSlam to Survivor Series last year.
When there are so many other great wrestling shows to watch, why pretend like WWE is good? Wrestling fans watch the other promotions for a good wrestling show, and we bitch about how bad WWE is because we want them to be better.
Yeah you're right, I'll never be happy with the main product as long as the Authority is still there and that stupid booking team is there, though I'm happy with NXT at the moment
no shit morons, there are millions and millions of wrestling fans (if you can call wwe fans that) around the world who all have their own idea of what they want in a wrestling product.
I'll never be happy with the WWE product If it is as bad as the one right now, correct. If they were to put on a good product the I would be happy, but sadly that seems slightly out of their reach right now.
Umm well the way they are deteriorating before our very eyes, you are right. Some of us will never be happy with it. Doesn;t mean that this is incorrect.
I would go as far as to say all of you WWE apologists by 2017 will be moaning and complaining and completely unhappy too.
I mean, we can go back to every era and find cringeworthy crap, but today's WWE is seriously the worst wrestling, in general, has ever been.
I've a thread somewhere here "125 + gimmicks Vince would like us to forget". Every era has terrible moments of sheer idiocy. For every Randy Savage, there was 10 "Red Roosters" or "Bastion Boogers". Watching Papa Shango "voodoo" a wrestler to jump off the top rope onto nothing was one of those moments where you were embarrassed if someone saw you watching.
Yes, WCW and others had their share of cringes, but nowhere near what WWE has had. Robocop teaming with Sting is one of those that always comes to mind.
The thing is, Wrestling has lost over 10 million viewers since the Monday Night Wars...well, it's closer to 15 million. Where did they go? Why did they leave? Why don't they come back? WWE quit trying once it had the monopoly and viewers left in either boredom or disgust. There is nothing to hold their interest, nothing to warrant watching it. Let's say you tune in once after X amount of years and see the boring shit we have now? You'll turn the channel and feel justified for abandoning it years ago. You'll see Big Slow, Korne and Sexual Carob and feel you haven't missed jack.
Many like to blame this on "vanilla midgets". Sorry, but that's the only thing keeping most people watching, not the same old goons. People like seeing someone overcome the bully. That's why Sheamus' heel character works. However, they have to build him up so that his eventual takedown will sell tickets. They've got to be patient with it.
The way it's going, wrestling will never reclaim those glory days.
The problem with all of those things is that they should have happened without people moaning and a lot of them should have been done ages ago.
And what kind of impact does the things in question have to the overall product? There are no story-lines. There is not enough good wrestling matches. The majority of the wrestlers aren't utilized for their strengths. All of the roster lose credibility because of nonsensical booking. Nobody can sustain anything, anymore and everything keeps falling apart.
Yeah, X talent should be pushed harder than Y talents based on qualities but what about everything else? You think that just because Reigns didn't get title (as he shouldn't) everything is an ongoing fairy-tale?
I was a teenager when I first discovered the 'internet wrestling community', and it really was the same as it is now, but smaller. People were saying The Rock couldn't work and cut immature promos, that Austin was overpushed and hogging his spot, how ridiculous it was that wrestler X wasn't in title matches instead of Foley or HHH, even distinctly remember someone kicking off at the ending of WM X7 and vowing to never watch again.
Frankly, a lot of people were incredibly negative about the AE and after at the time, and have continued to be ever since. I don't think the WWE will ever have a majority-positive online presence amongst die hards, without massively adjusting the very way they run the company.
There are always things people are going to complain about with it. Right now, there just seems to be more to complain about than in years past.
Never, EVER, will there be a product that appeals to all. You'll always have people who want things to be different, and there isn't anything wrong with that, just like how there is nothing wrong with constructive criticism.
It's the ones who have NOTHING positive to say that are the annoying ones. The same people who will find nothing positive in the product, yet watch and complain anyway.
