Personally will Stephanie McMahon go down in history as THE best female heel?

She reminds me of her father while not having the same charisma like her father but she knew how to generate heat. When she first turned heel, while annoying, the fans couldn't stand her and they would call her a slut. Also, do you think she is a great heel like her father Vince? Vince knew had to get heat and make the fans angry and Stephanie does the same. She has really good face expressions and is a powerful figure just like Vince was in the AE. I may not like her but she is a good heel.

If you call constantly emasculating all of your top talent being a good heel, then sure.
She'd be a good heel if they didn't have the Authority storyline. If she was just a manager of a stable or along those lines. Then yea, she does have skills. But being the one making decisions treating talent like shit is a terrible idea. WWE really needs to move FAR away from this as QUICKLY as possible.

No because tons of people hate her in real life as well.

o go away and never come back to TV ever again. She contribute nothing both as as on-air talent or behind the scenes and takes away everything from the rest of roster all in the process all in the attempt to feed her own miserable fucking ego.

Miss Elizabeth couldve been a better heel than steph
Stop being ridiculous. She played a heel in WCW it wasn't very impressive.

There isn't that much competition for Steph really and her longevity helps her out. I think that Sherri & Sunny are both better performers though.

EDIT: Oh and Vickie Guerrero. Vickie was better.

only by technicality, inserting herself/inserted where she doesn't belong like her daddy did

No, the reason she comes across as such an amazing heat machine is that she "scripts" the babyfaces to not have a comeback and to stand there and take being scalded. This is something that every other heel, female or otherwise, did not have the benefit of (it's not a net benefit because it hurts the roster overall) so for this reason alone it's not a fair comparison.

Other reason she's not a great heel is that she rarely to never serves the *entire purpose of a heel* which is to get babyfaces over by giving them their comeuppance which people will tune in/pay/buy a ticket to see.

Many, possibly even most, fans today seem to think that the point of a heel is to troll the viewer - "Man this is so annoying, lol good one you guys, you're really manipulating me! You win lol". In what conceivable way does this create money or increase viewership? Some people who are already watching will get their masochistic kicks out of the frustration it evokes but who the hell says:

"Dude, you've GOT to watch this wrestling show - it's so annoying! It has characters you just want to punch in the face but noone ever does which just makes it even more unbearable"

Mr. McMahon was an incredible heel because all the heel energy he created was transmuted into excitement and elation when Stone Cold eventually got him back; it was cat and mouse, push and pull, it worked and it drew in tons of viewers.

If you don't do the thing a heel exists to do (build to the satisfaction of seeing, or hoping to see, a babyface shut them up or fuck them up) then you're not a good heel, no. Stephanie COULD be a fantastic heel but all she is is a troll - troll's exist to amuse themselves, not to be a cog in the wheel of a productive machine.

would this count as plot convenience? or just WWE saying, "We aren't threatened by anything so we're just gonna do whatever cause who cares?"

(its 2015 this got old in 2002 ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!)

Stephanie is a badass.
disagreed, she is a harpy

She puts faces in their place, and makes sure they can't talk back. The balance is always on her side, she is a good heel, for sure -- but for that reason, she always has the advantage. Best example; WM31 with Rock, you're telling me, The Rock, one of the greatest mic workers couldn't have a single comeback for that shit she was spewing? Nah, fuck off. She's effective, but for that reason she's effective.

She is either the best ever or a complete dud. I have no problem thinking she is a total bitch in real life. Here is what's obvious about her

-handed her position via lucky sperm club membership. Don't care, she 'started' in customer service or some shit. If she totally ducked with the worst attitude ever she couldn't be fired. She grew up in the business? So what, career politicians grew up as regular people but then get elected and have no idea what people want.

-her ego might be bigger than her husband. Hhh for all the shit he's pulled has put people over recently. Stephen got her summers lam match pushed as one of the top mstches, slsps/rips up male wrestlers with no return and wouldn't allow the best women's fighter in the world to clock her at least. This fuck berated BROCK LESNAR for Christ's sake.

My choice for best female heel ever is fabulous moolah. Female wrestling in the 40 and 50s used to be big. Then moolah got control, and unless you did more than get your shoulders pinned you were blackballed. Destroyed women's wrestling just so she and the other promoters could have a smorgasboard.

She's not a good heel, the audience rarely boo her because she doesn't know how to make people angry, she has a problem because she always clashes with other guys are also heels, and I think that if someone is heel he doesn't have to confront with another heel. She always clahses with her own member of the authority, and that way she can be a good heel.

No, she's a "change the channel Heel" not a good Heel. A good Heel would be someone i want to see get their ass kicked because of how much of a bitch she but at the same time appericate how good she is, like for example Victoria, Ivory when she was part of RTC, or Trish during her Heel run back in 2004. With Stephanie all i want to do is change the channel or turn the tv off because of how annoying she is.

Re: Personally will Stephanie Mcmahon go down in history as THE best female heel?

Sensational Sherri Martel was the best female WWE heel. She knew how to draw heat and lead to a payoff. Lately, Stephanie doesn't do any of that. It's all about her emasculating the talent and making sure another woman isn't presented as strong as her.

I like Steph and have for a long time but her character is a one note bitch. I've enjoyed not seeing her on TV the past few weeks.

Re: Personally will Stephanie Mcmahon go down in history as THE best female heel?

My pics would go to Molly "Baby Got Back" Holly and Trish Stratus, I loved when they were heels, didn't really care for them when they started out as faces.

Ivory was great as a face and heel IMO.

Stephanie compared to the above, she doesn't come close.

and I haven't got around to the other women of WWE i.e. Sable, Jacqueline, Luna, Terri, Victoria, and Lita.

Pretty much, all those other women would not have to exist, for me to say Stephanie as the greatest heel.

but wait, then there would leave one more...

Chyna.

Stephanie would have to battle it out against Chyna for greatest heel dominance.

and that's one match that I don't think Stephanie will be victorious in.

1 of the best easily, love her or hate her.

She sucks so bad in her position as a heel. Normally with a heel, you'll be wanting to see the person get their comeuppance so badly; and then when they do, it would be satisfying and contributes to the quality of them being heel. Here, all Steph does is berate others, insult them, talk down to them, assault them, abuse her powers... all for her to end up victorious in the end or to get very minor comebacks. Ronda Rousey couldn't do shit to her; the next day, she comes back and shrugs it off like nothing ever happened to her.

Hell, she talks down on Brock; in my eyes, he had become Bitch Lesnar after the way he just walked off when Stephanie kicked him out and said he's suspended. She then takes it further with more backstage. And guess what? There's not a damn thing Brock will get to do for comeuppance. Nope, that's not an option in the storyline for when he returns. The only business she has on-screen is "ME ME ME ME!"

I'm sorry, but is WWE a porno? I've never seen someone self-fellate on live TV as obnoxiously as she does.

I think the one glaring thing you're missing is heels are simply meant to invoke sympathy for their babyface. The only comeuppance that was okay to book was the little thing they did for Vickie's farewell (which, note how she turned face on a dime after years of being the hated heel, Stephanie had her part to play in that as well) because they were both female non wrestlers. Otherwise? She was brilliant opposite Bryan - better than even her husband, in fact - and there was no other way to sell the Lesnar rampage that made sense. It put the damage he dealt over even more if anything.

The only instances I can recall where the concern was warranted was against Kaitlyn and against Cena.
