How to enjoy WWE more

Focus on just watching the product you're given rather than complaining about how it was booked, and thinking that you could have booked it better. Would be a lot more enjoyable to watch if you just take it for face value.

Thats pretty much what I do. Any show I watch (Game of Thrones, Lost, Walking Dead, Scrubs, etc) I try to simply watch and enjoy without getting too emotionally involved in the characters to where things being done piss me off.

One time at my house I had a friend get seriously pissed off and throw their drink when they were watching their favorite sports team who happened to get sacked at the end by at bad call and I was like like :woah

But hey, everyone can be fans in different ways :shrug If people like getting that invested to where matches outcomes make them happy or mad more power to em'!

Most of the people who act like they would book Raw so much better seem to not even understand the most simple of wrestling concepts that have existed for decades. Things like: heels cheat to win because they are heels not because OMG he's being buried!

This is the real answer. If there is really something from Raw that is worth watching you can usually do it in about 10 minutes on youtube.

I usually watch it for what it is. Then when I fall asleep and text my friends in the morning, they always tell me that I didn't miss anything.

I just watch it with my thinking cap off, otherwise I don't enjoy it, I see every spot being set up, i nitpick and i'm not being entertained ... nah,it's best just to take it for what it is, mindless entertainment, you shouldn't have to think watching wrestling.

If noone complains:

The WWE thinks "Hey, everyone must love it! Let's have more Interspecies Tag matches!" "Let's have Big Slow, HHH, Cena and Korne bury the entire roster!" "Hey, let's try running Benny Hill's music, Yakkety Sax, through every match!" "Let's have talentless Divas" "Lets have Rollins and Orton wrestle in a pool filled with spaghetti and meat sauce!" Let's have a big egg that when hatches a guy in a turkey suit comes out!" Let's combine rape and necrophilia in one segment!" Let's have an octogenarian give birth to a hand!" "Let's give the cruiserweight title to a leprechaun living under the ring!" "Let's force a guy that's clearly unready down everyone's throats!" Hey, nobody's complaining!"

Find any recent match on Youtube, turn the volume of it down, and play Yakkety Sax while watching it. That must be how Vince views everything.

WWE is catered as a "men's soap opera." The problem is is that if you translate the story-lines and writing to another more standard show, it's writing and plot-points, character development and climaxes are awful.

So why do I watch? Well, partly because I am interested in the high-points, when the show is really good, which it can be. But I am also morbidly interested in the low-points, like watching a car-wreck ... The times when you throw your hands up in the air and say, "What the fuck was that shit!?"

This. If isn't not going to be really good at least make it bad enough that I can laugh at it. The worst wrestling is BORING wrestling and that's what most of the TV is now. It's why I only really watch PPV and catch whatever is getting buzz from Raw on youtube.

I think the big problem is that people feel the need to watch Raw live so they can post in a live viewing thread. Wrestling is the perfect DVR show, it's made to be watched that way pretty much. Are you really losing anything not posting in a live thread if you get to skip all the replays/ads/bullshit? Not really.

Yep if you lower your expectations and just accept everything you'll be happy, happy, happy, happy.

I used to listen to music and decide whether I liked it. Now Simon Cowell tells me what to like and I'm happy, happy, happy.

I used to think things about films now I just watch transformers on a loop and I'm happy.

Happy, happy, happy, happy, happy, happy, happy, happy.

Ways to enjoy wrestling more in general......

1. If you like flippy spot fests go watch Lucha, ROH, or NJPW
2. Understand you aren't the only person watching the show
3. Realize its just a tv show
4. Locate your remote so you can change the channel when you get bored
5. Do more with your free time than post about wrestling on the net
6. Grow up

lol typical dubya dubya E fanboy don't know shit about wrestling outside of dubya dubya E, if anything dubya dubya E is the one producing spot fest, finisher fest, over booked and cluster fuck matches whilst a show like lucha underground is producing some of the best booking, storytelling and characters.
