He had a Hulkamania tour in 2009 (in Australia) that was, apparently, well received. It was suppose to be broadcast on a TV station here as well, but due to Umaga's death shortly afterward, it never happened.
Hogan couldn't be arsed coming here in 02 for the first WWF tour in 16 years, and pulled out the week before because it was his birthday that week (that was apparently part of the reason, grow up, you were 49 years old). This was when he jobbed to Brock on Smackdown and left.
A lot of people were so pissed off, me included. Three of us drove 11 hours, stayed in Melbourne for 36 hours, only 24 awake, and set off back home again. However, it was a once in a lifetime thing to see WWE. Then they kept coming back, just like Rock v Cena.
He will probably announce, "My 62nd birthday is next week, Brother."
"I never told this to anyone because, you know, it doesn't matter to me brother, but back in the day, I suggested the Aborigines gimmick to Australian bushmen. I made these people brother!"
