Things are looking bad for Bryan sadly.

Daniel Bryan has apparently been pulled from the rest of the current WWE European tour. The most recent advertising for the rest of the tour has Bryan removed from the remaining shows.

We noted earlier this week that Dave Meltzer mentioned on Wrestling Observer Radio that Bryan has been working hurt. Bryan has been competing mostly in six-man matches, and has only worked two singles matches since winning the Intercontinental title at WrestleMania 31 earlier this month. He hasn't wrestled on RAW the past two weeks.

IMO it still means they handled the whole thing incorrectly. From the start, if it wasn't to have Daniel Bryan win the thing they should have kept him off the entire card and made like he was still too hurt to compete in the Rumble. Having a triumphant comeback to then get the jobber elimination is just jerking the fans around.

This is bad news for Bryan though. For the fans too.

Damn, that sucks.

Man that sucks. Bryan is usually the highlight of every RAW and Smackdown for me. And PPVs, for that matter. When he's not on the show it just feels incomplete. There's really no one else on the roster that could take his place for me, at the moment.

With that said, there is reason to be optimistic. (And I know I'm jumping the gun here, but I'm just thinking 'worst case scenario') If Bryan retires, at least we've got a bunch of talented guys in NXT that could hopefully get called up soon to try and fill that void. Bryan has had an amazing career, both in and out of WWE. If he retires tomorrow, he's still one of the greatest ever. A legend, really, to serious wrestling fans. I mean, of course he's not the Rock or Hogan in terms of outside fame, but that's just because WWE refused to promote him. He's held every title, had amazing matches with the best wrestlers in the world, and had arguably the greatest WrestleMania performance in history. First ballet HOFer in my book.

A lot of nonsense being talked in the thread.

No information on specific injuries that i can see and it's utter nonsense to suggest he was kept off Raw 2 weeks ago because of it when he worked a stiffer than usual match with Sheamus the next night.

For all anyone knows WWE are just being cautious in this instance because he has a few niggling injuries.

Unless there is solid confirmation and not the typical ''Well ummm... we are hearing Bryan has an injury, probably a neck injury ummmm'' bullshit that Meltzer has a tendency to spew when he's out of the loop then the whole story is irrelevant.

Cena gets banged up regularly and taken off shows but it is never reported like this with uninformed people claiming it's the end of his career.

How about we just wait until something is confirmed one way or the other.

Maybe he just wants time off, either way it sucks but if he needs it then he should get the rest. I say this about all wrestlers, even if I don't like them. Sad we have a few petty people in this thread but it's WF, wouldn't be the place if it didn't have assholes mocking Db because that's what they do.

There seems a lot of rewriting of history going on in current Bryan threads. Health concernes were NOT the reason Bryan didn't get to main event WM. Or was put in a meaningless multiman match. Or that they tried to deliberately make him less popular. Bryan himself said the reason was they didn't think he was marketable enough. In hindsight it might have been for the better that he didn't fight Lesnar but there is no reason to stop criticizing WWE for the squandering of Daniel Bryan.
