According to PWInsider.com, WWE officials asked several stars to cut their speeches short on Saturday night at the 2015 Hall of Fame ceremony, including Kevin Nash, Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair. As noted, WWE wanted to limit most speeches to 12 minutes.

Overall, WWE officials were not pleased with this year’s ceremony as they felt the show ran way too long and wasn’t exciting enough. Officials were said to have loved The Bushwhackers speech, with the feeling it was a perfect mix of their characters and telling old stories. However, they were not happy with Madusa’s use of adult language and some weren’t happy with how she put over Eric Bischoff.

Regarding Shawn Michaels, he tore up his prepared speech and was going off the cuff when he inducted Nash. WWE officials weren’t happy with Shawn’s use of the words “strap” and “wrestler” in his speech.

These people need to grow the fuck up. The HOF is AIRING ON THEIR OWN NETWORK. They can censor whatever they want once they air it on regular TV.

The fact that they had a problem with the term WRESTLER, which is featured in the company's actual name (World WRESTLING Entertainment) just screams idiocy to me.

I thought the entire HOF was pretty damn good. Yes it was long, but I was never really bored by it at all. I've been bored to tears within 30 minutes of Raw starting before.

The show was great. It was the kind of show that makes us keep tuning in to RAW every fucking week even though it usually sucks, because we know that every once in a while, WWE will accidentally let something entertaining happen, and those are the moments we live for. We watch WWE not because of how good it is, but because of how good we know it can be.

They're mad about the HOF every year because a lot of the guys who attend actually are friends, so pardon them for not wanting to adhere to WWEs phony content. I remember when HHH was pissed off over the Rock "treating it like a roast" since he cracked jokes on a bunch of wrestlers in attendance. Half the guys who show up are angry Hogan is there every year, too. Someone is always butthurt over something that happens at the HOF.

And people thought those two were the best speeches of the night. Is it so wrong to be entertained? I had a bigger problem with hhh doing wrestling is fake jokes. "Arnold killed millions of people in movies yet nobody got hurt what a worker" That isnt offensive but mentioning the word wrestler in a wrestling hall of fame and mentioning a guy that was gm is wrong? GIVE ME A FUCKING BREAK.

You're the first respondent to 90+% of the threads here. On a rare occasion you do make a funny post or two but you're way too hit or miss.

You need to give your mouse a rest before your repeated refreshing breaks it or something. Maybe give your gimmick a rest and fap once in a while. It's good for your health.

WWE just want to control everything don't they? I'm glad HBK had some balls and used the word "wrestler". What the fuck is he supposed to say? Superstar? Sports entertainer? :eek:ut

I can understand the language issues of Madusa's speech, but it is an adult venue and wrestlers have generally lived very salty lives with some ribald experiences, , so it should be expected.

As far as HBK, stop micromanaging things. The wrestlers should be allowed to express themselves freely. This kinda stuff leaves me greatly disappointed with WWE.
